Background: She was born in Shenzen, China. Her father is half Chinese and Korean while her mother is Chinese. She has one brother named Lu Jun. she likes dancing since she was young, her parents decided to send her to a gymnastic classes. When she was 13 she was carded by JYP Entertainment and she became a trainee there. She decided to leave JYP because she lost hope of ever debuting there. Then she auditioned for Moonlight Entertainment and was accepted.
