Chapter Thirty - Eight

(Meanwhile....)

Suho's Pov

"Hyung, I'm tired. Let's rest." Said Lay as he did light punches on his knees.

I shook my head, protesting that idea. "We can't. We have no idea what's going on with Jaehee, Luhan and Tao so we must quickly get to them."

"You have a point but this forest is huge, do you think we can even find them? They're not even at the hideout." Said Kris, scratching his head.

We went to our hideout earlier but there were no signs of the 3 of them. Where on Earth did they go?

"So let's rest for the night, okay? Even we get tired too." Chen agreed with the others.

I sighed. They were right, I do feel a little tired after all the search. "Alright, let's go to a nearby motel since our place is still too far from here."

We would have used our super speed but everyone is too exhausted for that.

You'd think we're high and mighty because we're werewolves and vampires, and that we don't get tired--nah, that's just a myth.

Don't believe those craps, we need to replenish our energy too at times.

Anyway, we decided to take a rest at a motel just located 10 miles outside of the forest. Luckily, the motel was cheap and nobody recognized us. Heaven must be on our side.

We went up to our room which was located on the 2nd floor of the motel. The place wasn't fancy or anything but we only needed to rest for the night, we're probably going  to go search again early in the morning.

As soon as we walked into the room, we immediately found our comfortable positions--Kris, Xiumin and Sehun shared a bed next to the door, Chen and I shared the other one next to the bathroom, Lay made himself comfortable on the couch and the others were on the floor.

After leaving the club, we decided to recruit vampires from different parts of the city and so far we recruited at least 6 vampires who never agreed with the ways of the Phantoms.

We haven't searched outside of the city yet because we didn't want to leave Jaehee and the others behind before knowing they were safe.

With us alone and the 6 newly recruited vampires, it still wasn't enough to beat the Phantoms. We need a great number of armies to take out the Phantoms and their minions.

(1 hour later)

It was almost 8PM when there was a sudden knock at the door. Chen was in the bathroom taking a shower, and the others were sleeping, I was the only one up.

"Who is it?" I asked as I took cautious steps towards the door.

The man on the other side of the door spoke, "I have a delivery for Mr. Kim Joonmyeon?"

A delivery?? But who besides us knew we were here? Something smells fishy.

And it didn't help knowing that Chen has been in the shower for nearly 2 hours without making a single sound.

The members woke up because of the noise. "Who is that?" Asked Chanyeol who was the first to wake up.

"He said he has a delivery for me." I replied.

"Careful, hyung. Could be a trap," said Sehun as he got off the bed. I nodded my head in response.

I turned the doorknob slowly and slightly open the door and taking a peek at the man outside. He looked like a normal deliveryman and I smell no bloodthirst from him.
