Winston's POV - Next Day:

"So how is she," Jia asked over the phone.

I had called the guys last night and told them everything, especially after I got the whole story from people about what that guy did to her. They were just as concerned as I was after hearing about it. We've become her family, the guys she can fall back on.

"She's better," I sighed as I looked at her sleeping body in our bunk on A Day's bus. "I shouldn't have done this to her. She would have been safer if we were in San Diego or if I'd brought her home."

"Don't beat yourself up about it," he reminded me. "She's stronger now than ever, she'll bounce back from it in no time. Have you told her about the tour though?"

"No," I muttered sadly. "But um, interesting question."

I heard him laugh, "Shoot."

"Would you guys be down if she moved to Australia and lived with me," I asked nervously. "I just don't want me to bring her and for you guys to secretly hate her guts."

He laughed again, "You're kidding right? We love her! Bring her man, you'll be much happier and then she can tour with us!"

"Do you think my mum and dad will like her," I questioned hesitantly.

I heard him sigh, "I dunno, man. Compare her to Jessica. Jess was perfect and your rents loved her."

"I know," I groaned. "But it just wasn't going to work. I couldn't see myself with her in the long run because she doesn't know what it's like for me to be on the road all the time. Riv gets that."

"Hey, I'm not against you or Riv," he replied calmly. "I'm just reminding you that your parents were in love with Jessica and now you're thinking of bringing home a Cali girl that is a little less than stable."

I pinch the bridge of my nose and squeeze my eyes shut. I hate when people say that about her and Jia knows that. "Look, she's better now. You know that. My parents don't need to know her past."

"Bull," he spat out. "You know as well as I do that even if you don't say anything, they'll find out."

"Winston," I hear a small voice call out. I spun back around and went to the bunk area and saw her standing there, fear in her eyes.

I smiled and pulled her into my arms, holding my phone to my ear with my shoulder. "Good morning," I whisper quickly before kissing her gently. "How'd you sleep?"

"Good," she said, nodding her head and smiling. "I'm feeling a lot better."

"Hey Jia, I'll call you later. Riv just woke up," I muttered into the phone before hanging up, only hearing a short part of his reply. I reached around the corner and felt for her meds before grasping the bottle. I opened it and shook out the 2 she was supposed to take. "Swallow them quickly and it will all be over for today," I cooed before handing her a bottle of water.

I watched her take the pills without making her usual fuss and let her grab some toast before we got to the venue. "How long have you been up," she asked as she shoved the bread down into the toaster.

"An hour or two, not quite sure," I muttered, pulling my laptop from my bag. "Did you miss me," I asked with a cocky smile.

She laughed and kissed my cheek. "When don't I miss you."

"Ya know, I was thinking that it could just be you and me today," I suggested. "I feel like we haven't had a day to ourselves in awhile and I just miss when we use to sit on the rocks, watching the waves crash."
