Eternal Light - Chapter 2

Before you guys start to read for chapter 2, I want to appologize as I got wrong writing in chapter 1. Some of you guys might know it as it Louis POV but I used 'he' instead of 'I'. I don't want to change it as it might harm the story. So in chapter 2, I'm gonna use 'I' for the POV. So sorry for the mistakes.Hope you guys enjoy the story :)

Chapter 2 - Eliana

Louis POV

"Eliana"

"Oh thats it. sorry I forgot, hmm nice name" she said while staring at me with a smile.

"You have heard her name before.You just want to tease me don't you?" I said and staring at her back.

"yeah okay sorry my beloved brother."

"so what is it? your homeworks? or you just trick me to ask me about this?" I cut the conversation. It's not like I hate to talk about Eliana. I just don't want my sister to go any further with it. She will give me a motivation about love confession.I admit she's good with it. She once told her ambition about being a great lecturer. I always support her with it.

"Brilliant! how did you know it? I can't just talk about this outside or mom and dad might hear it."

I know she's giving her excuses but i just let her be. Sometimes I need someone to talk to about something private. Elyssa will be the person. She will give me some motivation too.

"As I thought, hmmm... So .... what do you think? yeah I mean should I confess to her? if yes then how? I'm lacking at this." 

I'm asking her opinion. Actually I do want to confess to Eliana but I just can't do that alone. I said that because I do see some men try to confess to her but ended up rejected. i just can't understand what's Eliana's taste of man..... or is she waiting for a prince to confess to her? that could be me? Ahh stop dreaming!. I just realise that Elyssa is thinking of something.... hard.

"Well Louis, I don't know what is her taste of man but for me you're quite a handsome and stylish guy,....."

"hey hey hey, don't said that you have...."

"What?! Do you think I have falling with you?" She said while tickling me. I just want to tease her. I am laughing hard so do her. I like to playing jokes with her. She sometimes realieved my stress. I admit she is a beatiful girl too and it's not like I like her. it's just she's is good at making me laugh. b

"Okay okay sorry, stop tickling me or I'm gonna do it to you" I said while laughing.

"So louis, how about I help you? I will ask her to wait somewhere and you come? just act like it an accident meet. Don't worry, I am really close to her. you can count on me. I will try my best!"

She said with a highly spirit. I don't know why she needs to be that serious when it's love on me but not her. She needs to find one too.

"Do you need to get that serious Elyssa?"

"Well, as your beloved sister, Princess Elyssa, I need to make sure that your love is two-sided one.Besides, having a flora-birth descent as my sister-in-law is a great thing. You are the next king. So having a beautiful queen to accompany you is a great thing too. and I......."

"Shhhhhhh... Better you shut up your mouth or I might lose my ears drum. Just go straight with it okay? I'm counting on you. actually I really want to confess to her but I just don't know how. I'm scared as well that i might be rejected".

I said with a meaningful smile hoping tomorrow would be a great day.

"Your highness, the dinner is ready." the palace's concubine said.

I walk down the stairs with my sister while my mom and dad catching up the dining table.We all eat together also with all the concubines. my dad, King Zestar never count on fame and ranks. For him, all of us are the same.The only thing that makes us different is how do we treat others. that's why all the concubine in the palace will eat with us in breakfast,lunch and dinner. That's other side of my dad that I'm proud of. I hope I can be equitable as my dad when it's my turn to take the crown.

"Oh Louis, I want you to represent me on the next general meeting tomorrow. it's a practice for you." my dad suddenly rage on me.

"WHAT!? but dad I'm still.........."

"No excuses, or you can't go anywhere for a month.It's a general meeting. you just need to hear and approve the reports." My dad didn't give me chance to speak.

"fine dad.... you always won" I'm saying grievely.

"Because I am your father. That's why you need to listen to what I said my beloved son. Sometimes I can't wait for the coronation day of yours. I want relax and have a peace life with my beloved wife" My dad saying while laughing and hug my mom on the shoulder.

"both of you stop talking, and honey you should be embrassed in front of our son. enough talk. let's eat." My mom cutting of the conversation. I saw the red-faces on my mom faces. embrassed maybe? That's my dad. always be romantic. Thats why Queen Melyssa ( my mom ) don't want anyone else. but sometimes, he overing on it. after done with the dinner, I go to my room. it's 10:00 already. "ahh what a late dinner. TIRED!" I lied on the bed thinking of tomorrow about Elsyssa's plan. is it going to work? i don't know. All I can do now is waiting for tomorrow.

Elyssa POV

I get into Louis room and sit beside him on his bed. 

"Elyssa, you sure its going to work? I'm scared I will be rejected."

"Well who knows? maybe she is waiting for you?You need to try forsake of your love. if you wait any longer your princess might be taken. she's flora-birth descent you know?"

"Yeah I know, but its a shame for me the first prince of white kingdom rejected. as I know Eliana's parents is one of the Ministers board right?"

"Yeah as I know. why?"

"tomorrow I will show my capabilities of leadership! her parents might impressed of me and take me as !! ahh what a dream... if just its true"

"Ah Louis! good idea! thats the other way of it. about your meeting with Eliana, don't worry I will take care of it."

I said while winking my left eyes.

"You know Elyssa? You should winking your eyes in front of the boys. wondering what are their response. hahaha" He laughing hard.

"You starting it! it's not about me now. just focus on your love."

"I am counting on you"

"you forgot one more word Louis!"

"Okay2, I am counting on you my beloved sister. Happy?"

"hhehehe. I'm going to sleep now. bye bye."

Louis POV

" Hmmm.. I need to sleep now."

the memories recalled. I remember when my sister got scolded my mom last year. It was about love letters. My mom said to my sister that she need to be more brave to tell the boys to stop giving her letters as our garbage can at the palace were full of it. but my sister just said that she can't do it. the boys were to kind and she scared that the boys will offended because of it.

I turned off the light and hoping a great day will come tomorrow.

"CAN"T WAIT FOR IT"

" Louis You should be sleep right now. it's late already!!"

"OKAY MOM SORRY"
