~Naien ALCA Headquarters~
Yukari was humming cheerfully as she entered the gym. As she peeked inside the gym, she was quite surprised to find that no one is in there

"Wierd...I'm sure that Masaru-san should still be training during this time...where did he go?" she asked herself when Tamaki walked by

"Oh, Yukari-san." Tamaki greeted "Good morning, are you looking for Masaru?" she asked

"Umm...yes. I'm supposed to give him an energy drink after his morning workout." Yukari explained "Did you happen to know where he is?"

"Ah, he has asked for a special leave today." Tamaki told her "He said that he would be going somewhere and would like to be left alone....or so I heard."

"Ah...I see."

~Somewhere Else~
Masaru stood facing three graves while holding a bouquet of flowers. Nike stood from a distance, observing him

"Hey, I'm back." he started talking to the graves "Well, I brought some flowers and good news...that is...well I'm fighting once again after so long." he spoke softly as he placed down the flowers "I figure that Suzume might be overjoyed, and this time I swear to not let another tragedy like that happen again." Masaru ended with a promise before getting up and turned to leave

"Are you done?" Nike asked as he approached her

"Yeah, said whatever I came to say." Masaru replied when he saw yet another person, a girl with long, black hair which is about his age walking towards the graveyard as well, holding a bouquet of flowers in her hand

As she approached Masaru and Nike, she raised her head and looked at Masaru "....another victim of that tragedy I see." she spoke up and walked pass him

"So you're someone who lost her family as well?" he asked while she placed down the bouquet of flowers and prayed at the grave

"Yes. Was there celebrating a happy occasion when the monster struck." she replied as she stood up

".....Sorry for your lost." he said and silently in his mind thought "And sorry for failing to save people."

"It's fine. That's why I have decided to not ever let such tragedy happen on another soul." she said and turned to face him "And I expect you to repent for your failure as well from that time."

"....guess you found out." Masaru shrugged and turned around

"There are a lot of things I have wanted to say to you, but I guess this wasn't the time and place to do so." she said and held her fist "If not, I would have given you a good slap for what you did."

"Hey, Masaru had already tried his best. It isn't his fault that the tragedy happened." Nike stepped in

"I suppose so, but don't think that I would forgive you that easily." she said before she left the place

"Well, I guess my past is gonna haunt me even if I try to forget about it." Masaru sighed

"It's not your fault that happened."

"It is technically my fault thay I didn't appear in time and stop that foreigner, and probably my action of running away angered her." he continued and scratched the back of his head "Well enough about that, let's return to ALCA."

~Meanwhile~
The previous girl was walking away when she faced a blonde-hair woman in a foreigner ALCA uniform "Hello, Ayame. How did it went?" she asked smiling

The girl walked down the stairs and went beside the foreigner "It's just like usual, Freya. Just met this guy who is partly responsible for that incident."
