Author's Message: Im thinking about giving you all what you have been waiting for. The ultimate high point in our story. Will Michael and Steven's relationship finally reach where everyone wanted it? Or will i keep stolling to piss you all off? I guess we'll have to wait to find out...

I slept for a few extra hours, since it was a weekend. I checked my iPod, and it was 3:30. I had a bunch of kiks from Michael, asking me if i wanted to go over his house. I pondered upon the thought, wondering what my grandmother would say. Only one way to find out.

"Gramma?" I tried to be as innocent as possible to help my case.

"Mh." She didnt sound ammused at all.

"Um, c-can i go to a friends house?"

"Who?!" Her voice raised. "Better be Kaylon's house! Otherwise, youre not going." She had a funny way of pernouncing his name. Her change of expression and raise in voice made the end result clear as day.

"C'mon gramma! Why not?"

"No!"

"That's not an answer!"

"We don't know his family. They could be dangerous." I sighed, mostly because she had a point. But i wanted to see him badly, so i developed a strategy.

"Grandma, i texted my friends, and they are willing to compromise and meet up at Kylon's."

"As long as it's Kaylon's house." I was proud of thinking that up so quickly, even though lying gave me a sick feeling. I threw on a pair of black shorts, simply because it was warming up outside. I picked out a gray v-neck shirt, and gray/black sneakers. I also swung my headphones around my neck for an extra-stylish effect. I grabbed a light hoodie in case it got cold later on.

"Bye gramma" i said with a smile. She gave me a look of suspicion. I knew i had to be careful. In case she might have been following me or something, i walked to Michaels house, but i took the path that passed Kylon's house, so she would think i was going there.

I reached Michael's house, and texted him. I didn't ring the doorbell, simply because if anyone was sleeping, i didn't want to wake them up.

He opened the door, and my heart warmed.

"Good morning," i beamed.

"I texted you, telling you to come through the back door."

"Really? Oh god, i'm so sorry. Did i bother anyone?"

"No one's here, i was just downstairs, so it would have been easier."

"Ah okay. Hey, i thought Kylon and Brendon would be here."

"Nope. It's just you, and me." He said it slowly, emphasizing intentions of intimacy.

We played xbox for a little while, and eventually went on Netflix to look for something to watch. We stumbled upon an anime that showed A LOT of female breasts. His interest somewhat brought down my hope. After a few episodes, he got up.

"We have to go." It seemed very abrupt. I almost thought it was an emergency.

"I-is everything okay?" If there was any way i could help i wanted to.

"Yeah. I just have a race."

"Oh yeah, i forgot you took track as well." I liked that he played allot of sports, it made me feel safe. Guarded.

I felt nervous, as we walked to the park, worried that my grandma would catch me.

"What is wrong with you?" he asked.

"My grandma cant know im here. She thinks im at Kylon's house."

"Aaaaand what would happen if she caught you?"

"God knows." I sighed.

"Don't be such a pussy. Learn to live a little." I flinched at his colorful choice of words. I looked up at him and got lost in his eyes. Despite the insult, what he said made me feel so alive. It made me smile.

I did notice that i always do the right thing. Maybe being rebellious isn't so bad.

We got onto the conversation of girls.

"So then i was walking with her, and i held her hand just like this." He grabbed my hand and started swinging it back and forth lightly. His hand was so warm and soft. The last thing i wanted was for him to let go. He released me, and it felt like something sucked the life out of my body.

After the race, we went back to his house since it was still early. After about twenty minutes, my phone went off. It was my grandma. After i got off the phone with her i looked to Michael.

"I need to go."

"Well, it was nice having you over." As he escorted me to his front door, he turned me around.

"Text me when you get home okay? i want to make sure you're safe."

"Okay i will." I responded. Before i could blink, he steals a kiss on my right cheek. I jumped, and gave him the look of death. It wasn't so convincing since my face was red as hell. I ran home, praying that my grandma didn't figure out i was at Michael's. I came home, and she gave me the same look of suspicion as when i left. This wasn't gonna end good.

"Where werreyouu?" her accent was heavy in that sentence.

"Um, and Kylon's." I gave her my best pokerface, and prepared for the worse.

"Really? Because i walked past Kylon's today to make sure you were there, and no one was home." I knew she might have done something like that. I cooked up a quick lie to cover my tracks.

"Y-yeah that's because after a little bit we went to the store not so far away. We came back like 10 minutes after." I took off my shoes, and walked away into my room to text Michael that i arrived home...
