Strange

Jacks POV:

I woke up floating on the water thinking what happened to me. I couldn't remember anything before the moon talked to me. As I walked across the ice I stumbled upon a stick. I had a strange shape. When I picked it up, it felt strangely familiar, as if it were part of me. I started sliding across the ice, and the bottom of the staff brushed against a low branch. It froze immediately. I slid over to a tree. I poked it with my staff. It froze. I started to freeze things around the pond. When I went to leave, I jumped and surprisingly, I started flying! I flew over to the nearest kid playing in the snow.

"Hey! Check this out!" I yelled at him.

He didn't reply. I went down to talk to him, " Hey! Look at me!"

He still didn't reply. I went to poke him. As my finger hit his shoulder, it went through him. Strange, I thought. I guess I'm invisible now. That's really crappy.

I flew north not knowing where I was going. I checked to see where I was going. I just past the US/Canadian border. I kept flying until I caught a girl in the middle of a snow covered field. I decided to go and see what she was doing. Beside her was a wolf. I thought the wolf was going to attack her. I didn't yell knowing she couldn't hear me. Surprisingly the wolf didn't attack her. I felt dizzy at the moment. Then I passed out.

I was at a ceremony. People were watching me as I walked down the isle. Ahead was a greencloak holding a bowl that contained The Nectar of Niani. I looked around. Other 11 year olds were following me waiting to take a sip. In my city, the most popular drank last which means I was second. The first person was this nerdy kid. I took a sip, it tasted like fresh snow. I turned around hoping for a snow leopard. Nothing came. I was devastated. That was when I woke up.

The girl looked familiar. Very familiar. She had a stick in her hand. It had rays of lights shooting out of it. Must be a wand, I thought. She slipped the wand in her pocket and took out another wand. She called a name and waved her wand. A black Pegasus appeared. It had gold wings. She jumped on its back, and put the other wand in her pocket. She pulled up the sleeve of her shirt, and a tattoo appeared on her arm. The wolf was gone. She dug out a wand again, and a bridle and reins appeared on the Pegasus. Then she was up in the air.

Nicki's POV:

I still haven't forgot Nathion. I was practicing my witch magic with my witch/fairy wand.(it needs wizard spells to work, but won't be caught by the magic council) I heard a noise behind me, but when I turned to look, nothing was there. Must be my wolf, I thought. I finished my practicing. I took out my fairy wand and called my Pegasus. " Starlight!" I yelled.

I jumped on her back. Whoops! I almost forgot! I thought. I pulled up my sleeve so Alza can get to it. After a fast stroke of pain on my arm, a tattoo appeared. I took out my fairy wand and used my magic to give Starlight a set of reins and a bridle.

Then I was off.

Jacks POV:

I decided to follow her for awhile. Her horseback riding was amazing. Or should I say Pegasus-back riding. Whatever. She is amazing. As I was watching her I noticed how her hair flowed so gracefully, her eyes, as green as a bright dense forest on a frosty morning. She was beautiful. After awhile, I got bored and went looking around at random stuff.

Nicki's POV:

I started thinking about Nathion, and what Guardian he was. I led Starlight in the direction of the lake.

At the lake, the trees were frozen over. Strange, very strange, I thought, Could this deal with Nathion? I flew back thinking about him.
