Yui's P.O.V
I woke up around two hours later and what I saw before me was a painting? I sat up and I looked around, it was my apartment but... why is this painting here? "Yoi?" I called for him.
"Hmm what?" He came out wearing his art apron and he had a few brushes in hand and a pallet.
"What're you doing?" I asked him.
"Painting. I figured that since this house is so dull because of all your photos I figured that it needed a little pop of color." Yoi told me with a smile.
"Um... okay." I looked around the room and there were multiple paintings.
"Hi Yui!" Yori exclaimed with one of Yoi's art apron's also?
"Umm, hi Yori." I greeted her back.
"Yep! Yori and I are official now!" Yoi exclaimed and put his arm around her.
"That's amazing you two! But I think the paint is getting to me, I'm gonna go to my room." I told them and I went into my room. Good thing that nothing was touched, my room is filled with a bunch of polaroid photos that are hanging on my ceiling and walls. I have about two boxes of regular printed photos and polaroids.
I changed into something more comfier and as I walked out of my room the entire living room was filled with paintings, right Yori is a painting major. I walked out of my apartment and I decided to just walk around until I saw Jihun's car pull up. "Oh hey Jihun what's up?" I asked him.
"Not much but I actually came here to get you. Wanna go out and get something to eat?" He asked me.
"Oh yea sure." I replied and we went out. I was texting Tae-Young on the way and Jihun just kept looking over at me.
"Who're you texting?" He asked me.
"Just Tae-Young, she's my cousin so I keep her updated every once in a while." I answered him.
"Ah okay." He let out a slight smile and I flushed for a bit.
"So Jihun, do you have a girlfriend?" I asked out of the whim and looked over at him.
"Nope." He answered with a smile and I wasn't that shocked.
"Oh wow, assuming that you got a lot of fans at school it's probably hard to fall in love huh?" I asked him.
"It is, but you're the first girl that I've met, that isn't obsessed with us popular groups." Jihun stated as he took a turn.
"That's very true. I know about you guys I just... don't find the time to fawn over you guys like some brainless girl." I answered him.
"Well would you fawn over me?" He asked me and his face was flushed red.
"I'm sorry Jihun I'm not looking for a relationship." I answered him as I looked down at my fingers that were twiddling.
"It's okay, I wasn't asking that." He told me and pat the back of my head. We got to the restaurant and we sat at a table.
"Oh, so you like more traditional places huh?" I asked him.
"Yep." He answered with a smile.
"Well, let's see what we'll have." I told him and looked at the menu. I didn't get anything extra like a different drink, because I assumed that Jihun was going to pay.
"So did you bring your purse?" Jihun asked me with a smile.
"Rude.." I answered.
"I'm just kidding, it's my treat." He told me with a smile. I figured. Our food came and we both just digged in, and it was after dinner and we walked around for a little bit.
"Do you ever wonder what it's like to fall in love?" I asked him.
"What do you mean? Didn't you fall in love with Yoongi?" Jihun asked me and that really hit me.
"Um... yea I did. But I broke it off... for personal reasons." I answered him, not daring to make eye contact.
"Well it's how you view it Yui. Love isn't simple as you can tell." He told me.
"I know... but I'm wondering what's it like to really love someone because... I'm not sure if I really did fall in love with Yoongi." I confessed to him.
"Love... that's such a hard term to work with. Love is just another word for pain basically, it tears you out on the inside and out, then when you finally find the one who's been 'meant' for you it's like your on cloud nine 24/7." He explained to me.
"Yea... but what if this love is just... I... I don't know how to explain it." I started to stutter.
"If I am assuming right. The way you loved someone was out of fear, you never felt it before and you never fell in love before have you?" Jihun asked her and she nodded, "Well don't worry about it. He won't be your last love, many will come after him and if you really gave him up then that means you really loved him enough to let him go and find himself in the world."
"I guess... but... you see how we broke up was because we couldn't trust each other." I explained and I sat down on the side walk.
"Look at it like this, you didn't want to hurt him because you were gonna go to France right? Well, that just means your selfless, you love him but you don't want him to stick to you until you actually come back. You were just looking out for him and the people yet to cross your paths am I right?" Jihun asked and I nodded my head in embarrassment.
"Here is what I want to say. Love is painful and you will never recover from it if you don't find a new purpose in life. I will tell you now, I've never had a girlfriend but I did fall in love and watching all my past loves go with the one they've chosen really hurts me. Love is a dark feeling that eats you out, but it's also a bright feeling that makes you happy all the time. My whole point is, don't officially call if love unless they really meant something to you and you are still pained today." Jihun told me and grabbed my hand. I didn't clam my hand with him because I was too scared to face him instead I buried my head in my knees.
"I.... I want Yoongi back..." I cried.
"It'll be alright Yui." Jihun comforted me.
Narrator's P.O.V
Jihun... he fell in love with Yui. He knew about the Yui and Yoongi issue for a while now and he wanted to be there for her. Even though Mingyu was the first to approach her Jihun still made his way through to find a special place in her heart. The moment he heard that Yui wanted to get back together with Yoongi he broke also. Since Yui was already crying might as well just cry along am I right?
"Jihun I'm sorry." Yui apologized and hugged him. "I know how you feel, I'm sorry... I'm really sorry but please let's just stay as friends." She sobbed.
"It's alright Yui... I'm alright..." He smiled while crying and set his forehead against her's.
This was an unrequited love for the both of them, but this is only one of many, many other confessions left. This was only the start for Yui.
