You knew David for a long time, in fact you and him grew up together but ever since his mother died his dad would be very harsh on him you remembered that one day where he was climbing a tree with hid dad. But this wasn't a father son thing it was more like a lesson.

~mini flashback~

"Dad. Im scared I need help." You saw as David reached out to his dads foot but failed trying to do so.

"You're 7 years old David,stop acting like a baby." honestly you didn't like how his dad treated him. He was always so harsh on David and somedays you wish you could just beat that guy up but for sure youll get a lesson.  You heard david said something but you didn't quite make out what he said.

The silence was cut of by a loud noise, you looked up to see a large helicopter coming your way. You look back down to see David trying to get down.

"David wait." His dad called out to him but he then fell on accident this got you worried and forced you to climb down, but you stepped on a weak branch breaking it and falling. You closed your eyes and waited for the hit but something caught you. You look up to see Alex grabbing you by the sweater you struggled to get out of his grasp which you did but alsoo falling and landing on your butt.

You then stood up and walked over to David to help him up. You then saw Alex walk up to both of you and tried holding David. You gave him a death glare and pulled David back.

"Go back to the army,like you did when mom died."You saw David walked not that far and sat in the cold snow, you followed right behind him helping his wound.

"Lt. Colonel North, NSC. You already know Jason Hudson." You look back to see two men one in a some sort uniform and the other just normal clothing..kinda.

"What are you doing here?" You heard Alex's voice call out to the guy you assume is Jason.

"Yesterday, Sgt. Woods led a covert team to take out an arms smuggling a ring in Angola. This morning, we lost contact." You looked at David who stood up and walked up to his dad.

"So go get him, CIA. Why are you here?" Alex's voice rose which got you scared and just stayed where you were.

"Castro and the Russians are all over Angola, we can't go in. The CIA have buried the mission. Woods, and his squad, no longer exist." You didn't know what they were talking about at all but you still payed attention to it.

"We've got whatever you need, Mason. Name it. "The guy in the uniform cut him off.

"David and y/n can stay with Jenny, like before. She loves having them...they'll be fine" the guy with the sunglasses spoke up and you moved next to David. This is when David spoke up.

"Dad, you said you'd never go back to the army. You promised me." The sadness in his voice made you sad even though its not towards you. Alex looked at David then at you before going back to David.

"It's Uncle Woods, son. He'd do it for me." was Alex's reply.

~flash back over~

You didn't know that you were zoned out till a certain pair of hands were snapping at you.

"y/n? Earth to y/n c'mon." His what you called soothing voice called out to you which made you come back to earth.

"W-what? What happened?" You said while looking around the living room.
