Arielle's p.o.v

A red car.

I don't know the make, or model, I mean come on, what do you except?

I saw a red car barreling towards Mason Mackenzie and I didn't exactly stop to look.

I just quickly snapped into action. I pushed him out of the way- well, more like body slammed him...

I landed right on top of his chest, how cliche, I know.

But, wait, I'm getting ahead of myself. You need some sort of explanation.

Mason Mackenzie.

Not exactly the most popular guy in school, but hot as hell. Not like nerdy hot, or materialistically hot, like Andrew Garfield in The Amazing Spider-Man hot.

He could definitely get any girl he wanted, but, that's the problem.

Mason Mackenzie didn't want any girl.

He wasn't gay or anything, not that there's anything wrong with that...

But, anyways, he didn't want any girl because they all threw themselves at him for some unknown reason. All I knew that it was pathetic.

And that's coming from me, one of the most pathetic people out there.

Back to his looks. He had light brown hair that was longer on the top with a quiff, and deep sea green eyes that make you swoon.

Oh, and did I mention he had the muscles of Chris Hemsworth?

Heaven on earth I say, heaven on earth.

Then there's me. Arielle Mavee, and no, not Ariel. It's Arielle.

I had frizzy blonde hair that I usually pulled back into a ponytail, big huge black frame glasses, horrible brown eyes, and my most commonly chosen attire was a sweater.

As for the scale of popularity, I was definitely way at the bottom.

I wasn't really known for being unpopular or anything, I just wasn't generally noticed.

But that was about to change.

The murmurs and whispers suddenly snap me back into reality. I hear various things being said. Things about the car, about how I had saved him, and was a hero.

For a half a second everything was alright, for a half a second I was a hero, for half a second I pushed a hot guy out of the way of a car.

For half a second, I was noticed.

But then that half a second was over.

My brown eyes caught the attention of his sea-green ones, and I expected to see gratitude and amazement, but I saw neither.

Instead I saw only one thing in his beautiful, sea-green eyes.

Hatred.

"Get the hell off of me." He says, his voice trying to sound calm, but the anger shows through anyways.

Before I could answer back, he stands up, practically throwing me off of him. I quickly scrambled to my feet, brushing myself off.

"What the hell was that?" His voice was getting angrier by the second.

I was shocked at his reaction, causing me to say something stupid. "What do you mean, "what the hell was that?" I just saved your life."

He looked at me with a bewildered look at first, almost as if he wasn't expecting me to say anything back. His face quickly changes into an icey glare.
