Marco's POV
"MOM!!" I screamed as I couldn't even sit up, I was in so much pain.

Star's POV
I watched Mrs. Diaz rush to Marco's room to help him from my bed and I felt so broken and homesick. I then heard the door bell ring. "I'll get it!" Mr. Diaz yelped to his wife and son downstairs. I walked down stairs and standing in the door way was Jackie Lynn Thomas. "Hey Star." She said not as energetic as the other day, "So, um Miss Jackie what can I do for you?" Mr. Diaz asked her. "You can just call me Jackie Mr. Diaz, oh and is Marco home?" Jackie asked. "Why yes he is upstairs and he has a doctors appointment later," Mr. Diaz told her. Jackie nodded and walked upstairs.

Marco's POV
My mom was talking to me when I saw her, a beautiful angel only from heaven sent for me to admire and her name was Jackie Lynn Thomas, I never liked talking to her cause I always felt weird and never knew what to say. "Hey Marco!" She said as she wrapped her arms around my neck. "Hey..J..ackie" I spoke quietly. "I'll leave y'all alone" Mom said before walking away. "How ya been?" Jackie asked, "I um..." I coughed and rubbed my throat. "Oh poor thing!" Jackie said holding my cheek in her palm, "Here" she said as she wiped my eye that was watering. "Thanks Jackie" I said as I started losing my voice. "Um....Jackie I was wondering....ack...if you wanted to go on a..um... a date?" I asked super quiet and painfully. "Sure!" Jackie smiled. "Marco time to go" mom spoke as she walked in the room, "Alright well I'll be heading out," Jackie started to say before I cut her off "Jackie would you like to go with us?" I asked as I my voice had almost disappeared. "Oh sure!" She said before she stepped out the door.

Star's POV
I was watching TV when I saw Jackie and Mrs. Diaz helping Marco down the stairs. "Star would you like to go with us?" Mrs. Diaz asked. "No thanks I wanna stay here I have um....a lot of homework!" I lied, "Ok bye dear....Jackie will you grab the door!" Mrs. Diaz spoke. "Goodbye Star" Marco faintly said as he limped out the door.

Marco's POV
I had a doctors appointment and as we headed out the door I said goodbye to Star not knowing what would happen next.

Star's POV
I walked to my room and I grabbed my mini mirror and started playing music and thought quietly. "Well what if mom comes when Marco gets back or hopefully before?" I thought long and hard. Before long Mr. Diaz called my name. "Coming!" I yelled from my room. "Someone is at the door for you" Mr. Diaz said as he slid over to revel...."Mom!"
