Soft, pelting rain pattered against the creamy pavement. Tap, tap, tapping over and over, as it slowly filled the ground with see through puddles. Cars rushed pass, bright front lights glittered the black tart ground they ran on, people huddled inside shops to keep away from the dark, cold and damp weather. Unlike them, you who took to sitting in the bus stop, alone.

You shivered as you sat inside the cold bus stop, however to keep away from the freezing cold dripping water that fell from the dark deep skies. You huffed as you watch the car’s driver pass without care as some of the children watch you solemnly, and bored before vanishing with the many other cars ahead.  You turned your head up to see the moon, fully round and reflecting the sun light back brightly. It always used to guide you back home when you were younger.

Huddling closers to the side of the bus stop, you sighed deeply trying not to let the tears spill. Before groaning in annoyance, gritting your teeth you stumble back to your feet. What the point? You thought as you watch the laughter and chatter from the store over the other side, happy and bright, unlike you. A stranger, who waited at a bus stop at eleven at night, alone, standing and watching in the darkness. No one cares. You smiled grimly, before shuffling back in the corner, wrapping yourself tighter in your coat, and letting yourself fall asleep.

You awoke with pain as people kick and step on you, you cried out making them jump before moving away. Your open your eyes to see the flash of light shining from the windows and the rain drying away, before getting yourself up and stretching, grabbing your huge plain black bag that you slung it over your shoulder. With that you escape the small and stuffy bus stop to the busy streets, as people rushed to work, greeting friends and family all around them while you walked on.

Homeless. Alone. You walked onwards to wherever your feet took you. You mind reminded to what your parents had warned.

“Dear, please! Don’t leave; don’t go out of that door! It not safe for us, can’t you see? We isn’t normal, w-we shouldn’t be real! Why can’t you see that, why must you leave? Can’t you stay? Please don’t go, don’t leave like he did! You’ll vanish, disappear if you step out that door, please...”

“Mum! I can’t stand it anymore, there so much more than being trapped in here, in this house. I’m so sick of it. I know what I am capable of, what this thing I am! I don’t care! I just, I just got to get out of here...sorry mum”

You soon were running, fear racing in your heart as you rushed to the fresh, trees ahead of you. A park, you smiled s you got closer. Rushing in you found a tree that you climb up into and sat in, leaning against the bark. You close your eyes again, tiredly, your mouth water as you smelled food. Your stomach growled, as you drifted into a dream state. Your fears disappearing as you dreams took over.

Soon you awoke to see the star filled skies, your eyes watch them before checking the area around you, a green grass spread out with the many spurting and tall trees that scattered around the park, and however there was no other life then some animals. No person seemed to be walking around.  Thinking it safe, you pulled yourself down from the tree, you breathe in before letting it go.

Once your feet touched the solid ground, a hand wrapped around your mouth while warm raspy breaths swiped your neck.  Terrified, you tried to wiggle yourself away from the stranger, however this only made them tighten their grip.  Croaked and cracked voices escape their mouths entwined, “I have found you”

Your eyes widen your will to get away grew yet they found your pressure point making your world turned black.
