Chapter 3

I had just woken up and I had no idea where I was, I looked around and I was in a hotel room. I couldn’t find Emma so I started to panic. I got up and found Taylor asleep on the floor next to the bed I was in. I looked at the other bed and someone was in it but I couldn’t tell, they were curled up in a ball – must have been carter. I took my blanket and pillow and tried to pry it under Taylor but he woke up while I was trying to put the pillow under him. He sat up and looked at me grabbing his back. I felt like I looked like the wicked witch from the west, my hair was all frizzy and tangles, my makeup was most likely smeared, and I’m sure my breath stunk. So I tried to avoid looking at Taylor and I put my hair into a messy bun. He got on the bed and looked at me and said

“Good morning beautiful”

I smiled and said good morning back. I immediately ask him,

“Where is Emma?”

Then everything spills. He starts off -

She is with Nash and Cameron, you guys fell asleep and must be really heavy sleepers because we tried everything to wake you up but nothing. So when we were heading to bed we just carried you guys to one of our rooms. We were coming up with vine ideas and you guys just crashed. I didn’t want you to feel uncomfortable sleeping with a guy you just met so I carried you in and set you on the bed and I claimed the floor – carter and matt had the other bed.”

I smiled and then heard a knock on the door, then Emma came in, and boy did she look good. She asked if she could talk to me so we started to walk over to the door and went into the hall.

“Hayden… Do you know what just happened?? We stayed the night with Magcon boys!!!!”

“Do you know what happened?”

“I can vaguely remember sitting in a circle and playing truth or dare and that’s all I can remember but Nash said that we both crashed out in the hall and they took us in and I slept like a log while he had to share a bed with Cameron.” Emma exclaimed. I couldn’t believe what had just happened but I did know that we needed to fix our appearance. We went back into “our” rooms but then I started to freak out because I didn’t have any clothes to change into from yesterday because how was I supposed to know that I was going to stay the night? Taylor knew that I was feeling uneasy and so he asked concerned “hey what’s wrong?” I told him that these were the only clothes I had. He said “they still look fine but if it makes you feel better I have some if you want to change into them” and he started digging through his closet and fetched out and t- shirt and some basketball shorts. He tossed them to me and said here I think these might fit. I took them and went to the bathroom and I changing I stopped and thought am I really changing into some of Taylor Caniff’s clothes????  They smelled really good surprisingly.  When I come out he is looking right at me with a sly smile on his face. I ask him teasingly what’s going on and he tells me that he has some good news so we walk over to the bed and both sit down. He starts off saying that I look good.  And then he tells me,

“So Nash and I just talked to Bart and we told them all about you guys and he thinks good things about you and Emma and so with negotiating with him we all three think it’d be an awesome idea if you and her can travel with us. We are a little as to if and when we introduce you to all of the fans, but you would get you guy’s own hotel room, and you could go to all the after parties and side events with us and maybe you could get along with Mahogany and she could show you the ropes or something. This is completely up to you and Emma and your parents and if your uncomfortable doing that it’s completely fine and we could just like stay in touch some other way but you guys can talk it out and just let me or Nash know.” And then he smiled.
