Ella's POV It's been three months since we finally signed with William Enterprises. After all this time since then William Prince decided to transfer Hayden to MY office, "effective immediately next week" were his words during Thursday's meeting. It is now Monday and Hayden is officially becoming a partner at my company today. All of his things were moved over to an office room during the weekend so now the only thing that waits is when he comes in. And for all of those wondering, I haven't spoken to him since the night at the club. He's tried numerous attempts to contact me but I've ignored all of them. I have a business to continue and whether I enjoyed his...company or not, I still want things to be just business.
It's 10:30am and he is suppose to be coming in at 10:35. I go over what I'm going to say to him in my head over and over until I hear a knock at my door. It jolts me from all of my thoughts and I stand up, straighten my skirt, put on my infamous "business woman scowl", and snap "come in" in the direction of the door. All of my confidence goes out the door as soon as it opens, as I see my assistant and the man who made me helplessly want him standing in the door. His facial features are the same as I remember, but there's a subtle shadow of hair on his chin and above his lip that is forming into a light beard. He has a navy blue suit with a bluish black tie and light brown loafers. A Rolex is worn on his left arm and he looks better than he did at the club. (Idea of what he looks like below 👀)

"Ms. Fluticason, this is Mr. Hayden Prince, you remember him from the William Enterprises board of reps. Meeting?" Finally snapping to my senses, I put back on my scowl and speak. "Yes I remember him quite well, the Daddy's boy." I start off with a smirk. I stand up straight and walk towards him with confidence and hold out my hand. "Welcome to Fluticason Enterprises, Im sure you'll enjoy working with me and my company, but full warning, this will not be a walk in the park as it is with your fathers company, here. We actually take things seriously." I snap continuing my mean girl act. Surprisingly, he doesn't seem phased at all, and let's out a chuckle while grasping my hand to give me a handshake. "It's a pleasure to meet you Ms. Fluticason" then he steps closer to me so only I can hear him. "And it's wonderful to finally know your last name." He says in a deep voice that sends tingles up my arms. He finally lets go and my assistant looks towards me with a looks saying "what do I do next?" "Go and show Mr. Prince to his office, let him know how this company works and what needs to be done. And do it quick." I say sharply. "Y-yes ma'am." She stutters and opens the door wider to let Hayden walk by her back into the hallway. Before he steps all the way out of the room, he turns to look at me. "It's nice to see you again. I hope to see you around more often." He says in a professional voice but throws me a smirk before closing the door. I let out a breathe I didn't even know I was holding and try to clear my mind up. If only I knew how good he would look before he entered my office. Taking one last deep breathe, I get back to work and make a plan to avoid him as much as I can.
