I wanted a home so badly and to have a master to please, so he would give a attention. I was pretty expensive since I was a neko, I had a dark grey tail and , I had light green eyes. A lot of people came into the shop. As usual I knew no one would buy me so I took a little nap. A couple hours later the door opened and there was a scent I haven't smelled so I got up and looked at him. He came over to my cage and put his finger threw one of the holes in the cage and I rubbed up against it and purred.
"You sure are friendly" his voice was so warm and sweet. He looked pretty handsome too. He walked over to the counter and asked how much I was, I knew he wasn't gonna take me so I got sad and started to lay down but then he walked over and opened my cage and picked me up with one hand because he had a bag in his other hand.
"I'm Niles and your name is?"
"I...I'm Darrick" I never had a master before so I was really nervous. My clothes were awful the had holes and cuts in them everywhere. I didn't look like a pure blood and I didn't let the store keeper know that I was a pure blood.
"So you're a pure blood, the keeper didn't know and I didn't tell her because you looked so cute and I wanted you. I can't believe I got so lucky to get a cute neko like you" He said with a happy tone and had a big smile on his face.
"Well um I guess people thought I was a normal neko since I dont even look like a pure blood what so ever." I said as I looked at his face and noticed he had fangs.
"Are you a vampire?" My voice was so shaky and I heard how scared I was I hoped he didn't eat me the first night but I hated the shelter they only feed me once a week .
"Oh so you noticed those ya I am a vampire but I'm also the vampire king so no one of this planet would ever think of trying to harm you."
***Niles's P.O.V.***
He looked at me and then he started shaking I guess he noticed my fangs I hated seeing him scared. I put him down and he stared at me like he did something wrong. He looked at the ground which made him look so scared.
"Please don't shake you look terrified." I said because I didn't want to terrify him. He might run away from me if he gets to scared.
"But aren't you going to d... drink my blood." he was shaking and had his tail between his legs and his ears were down.
"No but as soon as we get home your getting a bath and feed because your skin and bones, she didn't feed you very often did she"? I said getting annoyed with that lady.
"No I got fed once a week." He started to cry and I hated the sight of him crying so I hugged him and started petting him and rubbing his ears and he started to purr I love the sound of him purring.
"Come on" I picked him up again and then got in my car and told the driver to go and he sat there in my lap in a little ball.
"Oh I almost forgot I got you a little present when I was in there too." After I had said that he stopped crying and looked excited to see what it was.
"What is it" I pulled out a collar that was black and had a silver bell on it, it also had a little hook on it for a leash but I don't think he noticed. I put it on him and he started playing with it. I let him play with it till we got to the house and patted my leg then he walked over and I picked him up and I put the leash on him so he couldn't get far away from me.
"Welcome to your new home Darrick."
***Darrick's P.O.V.***
He picked me up and then hooked a leash on me and we got out of the car and he put me down, I had no idea why he put it on me.
"Why did you put a leash on me"
"There are other vampires that run around here in the forest hunting and I have to let them know that your not for them to eat, from now on your mine and mine only so I will protect you, and now it's time for you to get a bath" and he walked over to his butler and he gave him to me.
"Master why are you giving me to him?"
"He is my top butler and him, me, and my maid Nala are the only ones who are allowed to touch you, oh by the way this is James." After I gave him to James he looked really upset but he had to get a bath. "James when you bath him put him in a robe and then bring him to my room" He took me to the bathroom and told me to undress and I did then the maid washed me. Then I got dressed in the robe and James brought me up to master's room and when I saw him he was in his boxer's.
"Thank you James you can leave now" my new master said as James nodded and left and shut the door behind him.
"Um master can I have some shorts"
"Oh ya sorry I forgot I didn't give James or Nala any clothes, here you go." He threw a pair of shorts at me and I put them on, and he came over and hugged me.
"Lets go to bed, goodnight my little neko"
"Good night master."
