"Jungkook, sweetie?" a voice says, making Jungkook open his eyes. "What?" he whined as his mother pushed his hair out of his face. "I need you to get up, baby," she says with a smile on her face.
He looks at his mom and frowns at her. "What?" she laughed. "You look tired," Jungkook notes and her smile falls a bit. "I'm okay," she whispers. "Mom, maybe you should take the day off," he says, holding her hand.
"You know I can't," she replies, giving his hand a small squeeze. "I know, I know," he says as she puts a hand on his cheek. He leans into it and looks up at her. "When do you go back to work?" he asks and she sighs.
"In half an hour." "What time is it?" he yawned as she ruffled his hair. "Noon," she answers and he sits up, looking at her. "Mom, why didn't you wake me up?" he whined.
"You looked so peaceful," she says. "But I want to spend time with you," he states and she looks at him. "I'm sorry, baby," she apologized.
"It's fine, there's always next time," he said, getting up. "I'm going to let you get dressed, alright?" she asks and Jungkook nods.
She leaves and shuts the door as he takes his shirt off. He undoes the bandages and looks down at his side. It healed a lot since yesterday. Maybe that's why it was stinging...?
He cleans the wound again and puts more bandages on it before deciding on what to wear. He goes to his drawer and pulls out a pair of gray sweatpants and a black t-shirt. He puts it on and starts brushing his hair out of his face with his hands.
Jungkook jogs down the stairs just as the door opens. "Bye, mom!" Sungjin tells her, kissing her temple. "Bye, baby," their mother cooed.
When Jungkook walks in the room, her smile got even bigger. "Where are you going?" he asks Sungjin, walking over to their mother. "To meet up with a couple friends, something happened to Jae," Sungjin explains as he puts a backpack on his back.
"Tell the boys I said hi," she called as Sungjin shuts the door. Jungkook smiled before hugging his mother, missing her motherly touch. "I miss this," he whispered. "I do too, baby. I do too," she says, combing her fingers through his hair.
"I love you, you know that, right?" she suddenly whispers, making him pull away slightly. "Of course I know that, Mom. I love you too," he says, a smile making his way to his face.
She places her hand on one of his cheeks and he leans into it. They stand there like that until an alarm on her phone goes off. "I have to go," she states and he sighs. "Okay," he replied, stepping away from her.
"I'll bring some dinner to you," he informs her as she grabs her bag. "You don't have to," she tells him. "I know, but I want to," he smiles at her as he leans onto the counter. "You and Sungjin are too good for me," she muttered, shaking her head with a smile stuck on her face.
"Bye, I love you," she calls before opening the door. "Love you too," he tells her as she leaves. He sighs as he stares at the door for a moment.
He then pushes himself off the counter and goes to their pantry, looking for something to eat. He cheers as he finds Sungjin's "secret" stash of ramen.
He quickly makes it and grabs a fork before walking to the living room. He starts flipping through the channels, trying to find a movie. He quietly oo'd as he saw Tangled. He clicks it and eats his ramen, enjoying his Saturday afternoon. Until his phone went off.
"Shut up, it's getting good," he told his phone as he clutches the empty ramen cup as Mother Gothel pulls out a knife. His phone dings multiple times as someone starts spamming him with texts. "I swear," he mutters under his breath as Flynn gets stabbed.
