Well basically this fanfic is going to be loosely based on the lyrics of a song by an amazing irish band called The Coronas who are seriously underrated. The song is called Someone Elses Hand's and it is one of the sweetest songs there is. If you haven't heard it please check it out on youtbe and follow them on twitter @TheCoronas (: Anyway, hope you enjoy the fanfic and give feedback(:
'I Can't Hide From The Thought Of Losing Control,
This Disguise Means I'm Not, Who You Think You Know,
Cause I've Seen My Fair Share Of Broken Hearted Love,
But It Just Don't Scare Me Half As Much As It Should..'
Shauna's POV
Another balloon burst as we sat weary-eyed at the table. Nathan had planned a surprise party for my 18th. It was sweet of him and evertyhing but, I'm just not enjoying it. A knock on the door was probably the highlight of it. 'I'll get it' I yawned climbing from my chair and swinging the front door open cautiously. 'Ja-' 'Shauna. I'm not here to argue, or talk even. But listen to me, please. I know what happened, what I did. It was wrong but I still love you and i know for a fact you still love me.' 'Jay, I can't, what you did..' 'Shauna I know but we're past that aren't we?' he pleaded talking a step closer to me. 'Look me in the eyes right now and tell me you don't love me.' he smirked placing two fingers underneath my chin and directing my gaze into his eyes. 'Jay..,' 'See, i knew it.' he smiled leaning further in towards me. I knew what was going to happen but I didn't try to stop it whatsoever. What was I doing? I love Nathan, what Jay did was wrong. I didn't have much more time to contemplate as Jay's lips crashed with mine. He pulled away, looking satisfied with himself, plunged his hands into his pockets, bit his lip and started to walk back down the pathway. I quickly paced after him. 'That's it? No apology? Nothing?' I asked furiously. He smirked 'We don't need to tell anyone about this. Do we? 'and continued down the road. 'Arsehole!' I shouted down the road to him. I ran back into the house and shut the door. 'Who was that?' Nahtan asked. 'No-one' I lied, my eyes meeting the floor. I was lying to my own boyfriend's face. What is wrong with me? Why was I keeping this a secret?
