I was never been so angry in my entire life. My father and I never get along. I slammed my plate onto the counter, breaking it.
"Psylus!" I heard my mom yell.
I didn't say anything. I just walked out the door and slammed it. I shifted to a tiger and ran down the dark street. A few tears fell down my fur and I ran. I didn't watch where I was going and got hit by a car at an intersection. My body jerked and I shifted from bird feet, gills, to a shell, and my eyes and teeth changed too. My whole body hurt from shifting so much. The car doors opened and two girls stepped out.
"What is that, mom?" One of them asked. I couldn't see what they looked like.
"I don't know." The mom grabbed a stick and poked me. My whole body turned to scales when she poked me. I gasped for air. I couldn't breathe. She poked me again and it turned to fur. My body was so exhausted. She poked me again and I turned to normal.
"It's a mutant!" The mother exclaimed. She backed her daughter away.
"Please!" I coughed out feathers and blood.
"Are you a mutant?" The mother asked.
"Please don't touch me." I twitched.
"I'm calling the cops." The mom pulled out her phone.
I panicked and used to rest of my energy to turn to a mouse and scurried away. The mother screamed. The daughter didn't seem to do anything. She just stood there.
I sat on a corner and went to normal. I body ached. That car got me good. My ribs hurt. I wiped the blood from my mouth. I've never changed that much in so little time. I tried to walk but my legs wouldn't move. Even worse, I had no clue where I was. I had almost zero energy. I tried my best to make some sort of wings and flew above the houses and trees.
I felt myself getting tired. I found my house. Before I could land, my wings disappeared and I fell. I fell on the roof of my house, making a loud 'BANG!' and a dent in the whole roof. I rolled off and onto the cement. I remember only falling asleep, nothing more.
