It was summertime in the world of Heroes and word had spread that new heroes had popped up. It turned out that those heroes were Robin, Tiki, Frederick, and Gaius getting into the summertime spirit by changing into their bathing suits and using weapons such as watermelons, seashells, etc. Today, Sharena, Ryoma, Nino, and Sakura, returned from fighting the summertime heroes. Ryoma handed over the orb that they won to the summoner, Kiran.
Kiran smiled. "Alright! We finally got twenty orbs!" Kiran said excitedly.
The summoner quickly went to the shrine where they put the orbs to use. Kiran speculated if they would be able to summon one of the summertime heroes and decided they wouldn't know until they were done using the orbs. Kiran was surprised when they actually managed to summon summertime Robin. They greeted the new hero and happily welcomed her to the team.
"We're so happy to have you with us, Robin!" Sharena shook Robin's hand very quickly, making Robin a bit dizzy as the somewhat violent handshake caused her whole body to shake up and down.
"I-I'm happy to be here too, Sh-Sharena." Robin tried to say as Sharena's overly excited handshake continued.
Alfonse lightly chuckled. "Alright, Sharena, that's enough. Now, how about we introduce you to the heroes here so you can get to know them, Robin?"
Robin nodded as they headed to the area where all of the heroes were located. Robin was introduced to many heroes that she had only heard of in old stories and others that she knew personally, such as a certain white-haired dark mage.
"Heyo, Robin! Nice to see ya!" Henry enthusiastically called out.
"It's nice to see you again too, Henry." Robin greeted much more calmly than said dark mage.
Henry smiled widely and continued. "I'm glad that you're around here, Robin! We've had plenty of other Robins come through here that just weren't properly suited for battle and-"
"Wait, wait, wait. What do you mean "plenty of other Robins"? You're saying that there's more than just one of me here?" Robin interrupted, her eyebrows raising in confusion.
Henry giggled. "Oh, sure! Kiran summoned a few Robins before but none of them were really the best candidates to be sent out onto the battlefield."
Robin listened intently as Henry explained the "other Robins" situation. "What made them unfit to go out into battle? Were they not experienced enough?"
"Well, I guess you could say that..." Henry said a bit hesitantly as he rubbed the back of his head.
Before Robin could respond, they were interrupted by the Ylissean Lord, Chrom. "Hey, Henry, can you- Robin? Is that you?"
"Oh! Chrom!" Robin turned, happy to hear the familiar voice. Robin was expecting to see Chrom, but she wasn't expecting to see Chrom struggling to carry two small children in his arms while a third one was clinging to one of his legs. All of the children looked exactly the same as each other, they all had matching coats that were identical to hers and they each had short, messy hair that was the same exact white color as her hair. "Umm, who's children are those, Chrom?" Robin asked.
"Well, Robin, these, uh, are other Robins that were summoned before you arrived here," Chrom said, unsure what else he could say.
Robin only looked at the small Robins in confusion. This was strange, to say the least. When Henry told her that the other Robins weren't suited for the battlefield, she wasn't expecting this to be the reason why. She continued to look at the children until the one clinging to Chrom's leg turned his head and looked up at her. He then hopped off of the leg and quickly stumbled his way over to Robin. The other two children in Chrom's arms squirmed around until Chrom loosened his grip and put them on the ground. They then made their way to where Robin was standing and they all looked up at her with child-like wonder. None of them were taller than her knees. Robin just stood there uncomfortably as the small children stared at her with their big, round eyes.
