Chapter XIII

Alecie
Me and Jalen swayed to the beat 'Good Frank's blasting through the house, I finished my cup and we just danced the rest of the Night. Finally we went outside and found a spot by the lake, I grabbed some covers from my secret hiding spot and we wrapped together. He put is arms around my waist as I sat between his legs with my back against his Chest.

We sat there and talked and talked and talked we had so much in common and he was just as smart as me because we connected intellectually and he was funny as hell he kept me laughing.

"So what you do when they caught you?" I said and he chuckled.

"I told them that I wasn't trying to steal the bird I just wanted to set him free" he said and I laughed.

"Aww look at you all caring and what not." I said and he laughed and look at her.

"Shut Up..." he said and I smiled he kissed my lips and I smiled.

"You know I'm not going to keep chasing you girl, I want to call you mine and we do stuff like this all the time. I don't do this to someone who ain't my girl."

"Boy whatever you can have anyone you want..."

"But I want you.." he said cutting off anything she had to say. She blushed and rolled her eyes, she shook her head I mean what the hell she didn't think I would hurt anything.

"Okay... Jalen I'll be your girl but you better stay this way don't hurt me Jay" she said and he missed kissing her cheek, "Ima stay the same if you do baby girl believe that" he said and she smiles kissing him Again.

Kai
I was drunk...yes I know this should be a celebration but I think I'm at the point where it's not fun anymore and you start forgetting shit because I don't know what's going on anymore, all I know is that I want a taco from taco Bell and Alecie to buy me some hot cheetos from the store.

I was wandering around looking for alecie when someone grabbed me, I yelped and the person steady me before I hit the floor. Dominic grabbed me and I smiled.

"Hey Daddy!" I said and he shook his head, "You're Drunk." he said and I chuckled

"And You're Sober." I said and Dominic walked me to the car and sat me inside, he climbed in and started the car.

"WE'RE LEAVING WHAT ABOUT ALECIE! I WAS HAVING FUN " she screamed and Dominic rolled his eyes

"Stop screaming Chris is going to bring here home I'm going to get you home safe mow shut the hell up" he said and Kai sighed.

"Stop and get me a Taco... And some hot cheetos" I said and leaned my seat back, I laid down and turned over falling asleep.

Alecie

Me and Jalen walked hand and hand in the building and was meet by Chris.

"its time to go!" he said and grabbed her hand away from Jalen's

"Aye my man's chill out with all that" Jalen said and Chris looked at him like he was crazy.

"Who is this clown Lex? You know what I don't care lets go Dominic wait on you" he said.

"Clown?" Jalen challenged and Chris chuckled, "That's what I said. Problem?" he said and Jalen shrugged.

"That's what I'm trying to see my man's" he said and Alecie stood between them.

"Chill on the bullshit, I'm sorry Jalen I have to go I'll call you later I promise " I said and kisses his lips I hugged him and walked ahead of Chris as he stared at Jalen with disgust. He followed behind me and I got in the car and slammed the door, he got in and scoffed.

"So what you mad at me now because I got into with you little boyfriend. It's not my fault you have awful taste in men." he said starting the car up, "And what that's suppose to me Chris? Huh?" I asked as he drove down the street, he scoffed and turned his music on but I turned it down.

"What the fuck is your problem Chris? You don't have any say in my life I can do and please as I want I have a father I don't need another one it's bad enough with Dominic." she said rolling her eyes, "Are you done?" was all he said and that made her blood boil.

"Stop the car I'm getting out!" she said and Chris scoffed again.

"Girl your dramatic as hell I'm not stopping shit" he said and Alecie scoffed this time.

"Oh now it speaks would you like to talk to me now or?" alecie said and he smiled and looked her way.

"You pick the wrong men, I mean Chance loved you but you didn't love him and now your going after Jalen? You don't even know him do you?" he said and Alecie rolled her eyes.

"Yeah because your the right guy... Anyone would treat me better than you did" she said and Chris looked at her again, he looked at the rode again and went silent.

"I might..." he said and she looked at him again, "You Might what?" she asked and he shrugged.

"Be the right guy..." he said and Alecie looked at him and he looked over at her again. When he look back in the rode a deer was crossing causing him to swerve and he lost control of the vehicle.

A loud screech and a huge bang waved through the air, I laid there in the car I was upside down, eve I went black.

One Month Later
I packed my bags and hoped over to pick up my shirt but Kai was quicker than me

"Sit down in this before you kill yourself " she said pointing to the wheel chair. She groaned and sat down, she watched as Kai packed her bags and then sat them in her lap.

She rolled her out the room and Alecie let out a breath it felt like she was holding she was about to be free from this awful place. She has been here for a month two weeks she spend in a coma and the rest she spent in recovery two more surgeries later and she finally gets to go home.

"I wanna go see him..." she said and Kai looked at her sighing and taking her to Chris Room.

They knocked on the door But the person on the other end didn't answer.

They walked in and Alecie held her hand up.indicating she could roll the chair. She rolled to the bed and there Chris sat laying in the bed and staring at the wall. Alecie stood up and carefully walked towards him.

"Chris there discharging me..." she said and he didn't even look her way.

"Chris.." he held his hand up, "Don't..." he said and Alecie went silent.

"Congratulations, I'll be out of here by next week. Mom wants them to run more test. I'm sure your brother has told you this already?" he said and Alecie nodded.

"So no I don't want any sympathy because you feel bad that big bad Chris can't walk again but save it.." he snapped and it crushed Alecie heart she didn't want to believe it but it really is true

Chris was never going to walk again and it's all her fault.
