It's a Love Story - Bryles Oneshots

Cottage

It was a beautiful sunday night on a long weekend and Myles and Briar were at a cottage in Suable. Myles' parents cottage to be exact. And while most people at cottages would be swimming or star gazing, Myles and Briar were inside: watching high school musical.

Most of the time, Myles can handle with watching High School Musical over and over again, it is his girlfriend's favourite movie , but since they were at a cottage after all he was getting annoyed. " Briar how many times do we have to watch HSM before you get over it?" he questioned. Briar scrunches up her nose and faces him , her face imitating shock.

" I will never get over this movie." she glares at him sticking her tongue out. She knew it was ridiculous to watch HSM at a cottage but hey it is her favourite movie. She also loved to make Myles sing alog with her to all the songs, especially the duet between Troy and Gabriella.

" B, we're at a cottage can we do something that we can't do on weekdays?" Myles sighs, and takes a deep breath before what he said next, knowing Briar may take it in many directions : " I know you love HSM but it is just the two of us right now and don't you want to finish what happened in the car?" Myles implies wiggling his eyebrows at her. Briar's expression remains neutrual as she stares intensley at the screen. Myles rolls his eyes and places his arm around Briar's shoulders knowing there was no way to convince her to stop watching her movie.

Moments later however, she switches off the tv and turns to face the confused expression of her lover. She simply smiles and states " You know I used to have a crush on Zac Efron?" Myles chuckles as she continued on - " But I've got someone better now" He raises his eyebrows at er while still chuckling-

" Is that how you're going to win me over?"he smiles , kissing her forehead lightly.

" No" Briar says calmly before smashing her lips against Myles. Feeling a thousand sparks where they kissed. Myles chuckled in between the kisses marveling at how he ever got to date her. He started trailing his kisses down the side of her cheek and down her neck, Briar felt tingles where he kissed her and wanting where he didn't. She laughed as she forced his head up to face her, "Eyes up here Mr. Erlick" she joked before once again letting their lips connect. The love she feels for him in undefinable.

Suddenly, Briar breaks from their kiss and pulls Myles off the couch and out of the cottage. " Where are we going Briar?" Myles shouts as she tugs him towards the lake, not that he minded that Briar was taking him somewhere. She stopped at the line where the cool waters of the lake met the sandy beach. They were both barefoot having just ran out of the cottage.

" You're crazy " Myles laughes after realizing what Briar wanted them to do " It's like 9 pm, and we're not even dressed for swimming". Briar reaches for Myles's shirt and rips it off him in one swift movement. Her eyes wander around his now bare torso, gazing up and down his chest. Now it was his turn to say " Eyes up here Ms. Nolet" He laughs as she tears her eyes away and pulls him into the cool water.

They run fast, their feet making splashes and ripples in the calm lake. Briar finally stands still when the water has reached a bit higher then her waist. Her hands trail up his muscular body and stops suddenly pulling them both underwater. As they reappear at the surface now soaking wet, both laugh as they started into eachothers eyes. Myles grips his hands around Briar's wet face and inches them closer so their lips touch, sending them moaning for air. Every time they kiss he still feels butterflies and tingles everywhere. His heart beats a gazillin miles per hour as he and Briar kiss.

" How is it possible that your lips still taste sweet in a salt water lake" he whispers to her in between kisses. Briar breaks away laughing, staring into his beautiful green eyes. The connection they felt was undeniable.

" I love you, you know that?" Briar states as she runs her hands through Myles's wet lush hair.

" I love you more than I have ever loved anything and I love you more than you love high school musical" Myles says softly strokiing his thumb on her cheek. She giggles at his reference to the movie. Even though she now he loves her, it still sends her blushing and all the molecules inside her body feel warm.

" Myles Erlick, I love you, I love you, I love you" she smiles before going in to peck his lips, her hands behind his neck. Myles places his hands around her small body and smiles just at the look of her.

" And I love you Briar Anne Yuriko Nolet. With all of my heart I love you" He prods their faces together, and as their lips once again touch, it generates these tingling sensations that made them both feel warm and fuzzy inside. When they both had enough of the cold water, Myles picked her up in his arms and ran back into the cottage, never stopping for a moment to tell her how much he loved and treasured her. They had something special, something that could make them smile just at the thought of each other, and that feeling was never going to change.
