- The main character was Monarchflight. He is an orange tabby tom with white paws with it fading up until it goes to orange with black stripes on his back.
- Dragonflydew was a dark brown she-cat with lighter brown ear tufts, muzzle, belly, paws, and her tail was striped lighter brown. She had a plumy and fluffy tail.
- Monarchflight was indeed in an abusive relationship with Dragonflydew. They only became mates because Dragonflydew confessed her "love", but she just wanted to get attention and be popular because she was mates with Monarchflight.
- This took place in a Clan named CloudClan, with the leader being Gorsestar.
- Dragonflydew went to the dark forest purely because she didn't believe in StarClan, not because of what happened with Monarchflight.
