Where am I?
Everything is falling down
Helplessly b ro ke n
Into pieces,
Into pixels,
Into crumbs
Into tiny grains of dust.
Who am I?
My memories are breaking down,
Now always sca tt e r ed
Ground in my tears,
Mixed in my fears,
Dissolved in sweat,
Rooted in nightmares.
What are we?
All we ever knew is gone,
Completely s h a tte re d
No more warmth,
No more love,
No more sadness,
No more pain.
When's my chance?
All my time is almost gone,
Seconds slip and fly a par t
From my fingers
From my lips,
From my lies,
From my being scared of nothing.
Why can't you?
Fill this horrid void in me,
Build up what has been c r ush ed
Of these shards,
Of this love,
Of this life,
Of these ri p pe d up shreds of paper,
The scarred fr a gme n ts inside
Of me.
