Kehlani : ughh i'm so nervoussssss , i don't think  i can do this i dont wanna do this . " i said to myself pacing back and forth across my bedroom ." i was getting ready to go to open mic night at blue lagoon cafe keith keeps bothering me to go he says it's an opportunity to get my music out there and it's true but I'm just nervous .

Keith : hey love you ready ?

Kehlani : no baby , i don't think i can do this

Keith : Lani baby , yes you can stop over thinking everything and second guessing yourself you can do this everyone will love it as much as i do . and if they dont' there haters Aight ?

Kehlani : i'm here now there's no going back so i have no choice .
Ella : you damn right , well I'll be cheering for you ok ? You can do this see you out there (walks out of the back lounge  ) .
Cheryl : Hey, everybody how y'all doing tonight ?

Cheryl : Good a friend of mine who's loved to sing and who's been doing ever since she was 5 please welcome Kehlani !! .
Crowd : (clapping )

Kehlani : Hi , everyone my name is Kehlani like and Cheryl said . Tonight I'm going to be singing  a song I wrote called "Piece of mind " enjoy .

Ella : the Waffle House ?
Kehlani : ah you know me so well .(laughs )

Ella : sooo what are your plans this weekend ?
Kehlani : nothing really why ?
Ella : welll I got us tickets to Chances the rapper concert !

Kehlani : are you serious ??? Ugh I'm so excited Chance has been the love of my life ! .
Keith : (mugs her )
Kehlani : chill babe , it was just a crush and plus I was young so don't take it to heart.

Kehlani : so what day are we going ?
Ella : Tommrow night it starts at 9 but we gotta leave like 8 maybe even 7 because of the long drive to Red rocks stadium . (Phone starts ringing ).
Ella : hello ? , ok I'm on my way ." (Hangs up ) I gotta go guys I'll call you tommrow Lani . (Walks away .)
Keith : you ready to go ?
Kehlani: yeah ,
Keith : you staying with me or going home?
Kehlani : home I don't want my aunt to worry.
Keith : ok .

Keith : goodnight . Have fun tommrow ok ?
Kehlani : trust me I will I'll be enjoying every part of it .

" I walked inside the house to a warm greeting from my aunt .

" Hey love , how was your day ?
" it was alright Me and Ella are going to chance the rappers concert  Tommrow night I'm super excited ."
" Oh that's great how'd your gig go ? ,.
" It went great ! A lot of people liked or actually everyone did (smiles )"
"That's good I'm proud of you ! ,. You hungry ?."
" No , I just ate at the waffle house ."
"Oh ok .,"
" I'm gonna shower and go to bed .,"

" I showered and put on my clothes and went to bed I was super tired from singing all day , I hope someone was in that crowd that's looking for an upcoming artist . "
