chpt 5

* a couple years later*

Today Me and carbon were sitting on the couch watching a movie. Sans was at work, selling hotdogs, most likely not even there, but at the mall or with friends. Carbon finally fell asleep. I got up and put her in her bed and went to the kitchen. I grabbed a glass and the bottle of wine I've been saving and poured myself a glass. I leaned against the counter and played (f/g) on my  phone. Then, I felt hands wrap around my waist.

"Hello *hic* doll~". It was sans. And he was drunk, too drunk. I just hummed in response and he grabbed me by my hair and through me to the ground.

"SANS WHAT THE FUCK ARE YOU DOING?!" I yelled grabbing his hand trying to make him let go.

"Don't call me sans. Call me either sir or... daddy~" he said leaning down where is face was centimeters from mine. The smell of alcohol on his breath was disgusting. He never drinks unless he's stressed out. Which I'm guessing he is because of how hard it is to take care of Carbon.

"NO! SANS LET GO!" I said yelling at him grabbing harder at him to make him stop. Then, he slapped me. I knew it would leave a mark. That was it. I pushed him back as hard as I could and he flew back into the fridge with a loud *THUD* I got up and ran to carbons room and picked her up and ran to the car crying my eyes out. I grabbed a couple hundred dollars just in case. I drove to the closest, yet cleanest motel I could find and got a room. Carbon was awake.

"Whats wrong mommy? What happened to your face?" She kept asking.

"Nothing baby. Go to sleep."
I said, trying to calm down.

"Mommy?" She asked with her innocent little voice.

"Yes baby?" I asked sitting next to wear she was laying.

"Where are we? And weres daddy?" She asked again, rubbing her eyes.

"We are at a motel for the night. And daddy doesnt feel well so he didnt come." I answered, rubbing her cheek. She then fell asleep again. I layed down next to her and started crying quietly to myself. Then I heard my phone buzz. I checked it and it was sans.

Sans- Baby I'm so sorry please come back. I'm so sorry, I cant even describe how bad I feel. I'm so mad at myself for what I did. Baby I'm so sorry. Please come back. I'm begging you.

Me- why should I come back? So you can hit me again? And btw there's a mark. Carbon and I are trying to sleep. Goodnight sans.

Sans- baby please, Re you serious? There's a mark?! Baby I'm so sorry omg I cant believe myself. I hate myself. I will never forgive myself. Baby I wont ever drink again if this is seriously how I act. Baby I cant lose you I love you so much. Ill heal you. I don't want to lose my beautiful wife and my beautiful baby girl. Please jayden. I need you.

Me- sans, its fine. I love you too. Your not losing me. I just cant be home right now. Ill see you tomorrow. Don't say anything about this to carbon. Goodnight.

Sans- okay baby. Sleep well. Put some ice on it. My mouth is sealed. See you tomorrow <3

*next day*

I got up before carbon. She looked so peaceful. *BUZZ* my phone went off. It was sans

Sans- good morning baby. I made breakfast. Pancakes your favorite. Love you. Tell carbon the same. Please come home for breakfast. <3

Me- im on my way. Carbon is awake now. She says love you too. She misses you. What kind on pancakes?

Sans- duhhhh chocolate! :-) I said your favorite didn't I? Lol

Me- yummy make sure there's no peanuts in the pancakes. You know carbon is highly allergic. We are about 5 minutes away. See you then. :-)
