My mother was throwing a thanksgiving party, I thought it would be a good idea to bring Gabbie. Without sounding desperate I texted her

"Hey my mother is throwing  a thanksgiving dinner do you wanna come?" I texted her it was probably 10 - 20 minutes before she replied "Yeah, what date though?" She asked I told her the date and that was that,

I arrived at Gabbie's apartment complex,
She had told me her room number, I had to go up SO MANY FLIGHTS OF STAIRS. But I made it; i knocked on the door that's when I heard a muffled "Come in!" I grabbed on the  door knob and opened the door, I saw her sitting on her black couch brushing her hair,

I smiled and waved. "Mind if I sit?" I asked her "No, I totally let you in my house, and expected you to stand while a girl gets ready." She replied to my question jokingly. I sat down on the suprisngly low and comfy couch. I looked around and say another black couch, ring lights, and some family on the wall,

I pointed over there, "Why is that so cool looking?" I asked "oh, remember when I told you I was a comedian?" She asked me, I nodded my head yes "I'm a youtuber." She said I looked at her in shock. I knew what YouTube was, I had helped the YouTube company make it.

"Oh that's really cool!" I replied, I knew the app, I helped make it. Anyways, I let Gabbie finish her hair. And I we got in my car, and we drove to my mom's.

Before entering I  knocked on the door and opened it and heard a lot of Hellos,
My 8 year old cousin Lily came running to me and gave my leg a hug, then she looked over at Gabbie, and she basically hit the floor with her jaw,
