Ugh, I just couldn't hit the high note. I'm never gonna get the job, I thought. I picked up the paper and read it:
"Vocalist needed for band"
I quickly crumbled it and threw it out."I'm done" I said.------------------The next day----------------------
"Ring Ring" my alarm rang.
"Huh" I say confused. Then, I remember "the audition". I get up, get dressed, and go outside.I stand there for a moment thinking whether I should get in my car or walk. However I decided to walk. You may be thinking why I am walking to an audition in Seoul, well I'm not. I'm going job hunting, for a 9-5 job. I knew I was going to waste my time in the audition. No one wants a Vocalist that can't hit a high note.
I walked to the shopping center near my house and immediately saw a help wanted sign. I quickly walked inside and asked a worker about it."Excuse me" I said
"Yes" the worker responded
"I wanted to ask about the help wanted sign"
"Oh, we already have found a worker, sorry"
"Oh, sorry, thank you for your assistance" I said as I exited the shopI was so sad.I needed a job desperately,or I wouldn't be able to pay rent this month. I could always ask my dad but I need to do something on my own for once.
I couldn't forget this thought of failure. I felt so worthless, like I couldn't do anything. I should've gone to the audition. It would've been worth a shot, even if I couldn't hit the high note. "No" I thought. "No one wants a vocalist that can't even hit a simple high note". I quickly ruled out that option.
At this point i realize I'm home. As I open the door to my house, I see a figure out of the corner of my eye. He seems to be staring at the pavement. I lead my attention back to my door and unlock it.
Home sweet home-------------------------------------------------------------
