Lemme tell you a sad tale. Once upon a time I was browsing some fanfics here on Wattpad. Then I stumbled across a retelling of Sun and Moon, with the authors Aura usin', Mary Sue self insert. She was paired with Steven Stone at first, but he cheated on her and got amnesia. Then Miss Mary Sue was shipped with her childhood friend Gary Oak. I wanted to puke. I vowed that I would never ship an oc with Gary mf Oak.
Just kidding, he's just not my type.
