Patton pov

As Bailee and I pop up in the common room Bailee gasps. I looked at her, worried something is wrong, but there was this look of amazement on her face and I can't help but smile.

Next to us Logan and Luna pop up, Luna looks around and looks satisfied. I smiled even bigger. Then Roman with Kadence. Kadence started bouncing on her heels, trying to keep in her excitement.

We all just waited for Virgil and Violet to appear. Bailee started to get worried and paced. After about 2 minutes, they pop up, They were holding onto the sleeve of the other, They looked at each other then pulled apart, blushing slightly. Bailee ran up to Violet, who hesitated but hugged Bailee back.

Virgil and I had been showing the new traits to their rooms. Virgil only helped because his room was the last one, and he wanted to nap before dinner.

"So, Just like the last three, your room will be next to Verge's," I say pointing to Her room and Virgils.

"Verge?" Violet asks shyly.

"Oh, that would be Virgil there, it's a nickname," I say pointing Virgil.

"Well, see you at dinner," Virgil does his little salute, before disappearing into his room.

"Bless him, anyway, what would you like to do? You probably want to be alone after that much social interaction, I'll leave you to it. I'll knock when dinner is ready." I ramble slightly, I open the door for her and leave down the corridor to the kitchen to start on dinner.

Bailee decided to help halfway through. The help was appreciated.

Virgil pov

"Well, see you at dinner," I do my salute before going into my room. Sighing I flop onto my bed. Soon I fell asleep.

"Hey, Kiddo. Come on sleepyhead, Dinners ready." Groaning, I sit up and rub my eyes. Patton smiles at me.

"Come on now. We still need to get Violet." He says and helps me up.

Walking out and knocking on Violet's door we hear sobbing, Patton goes straight into Dad-Mode. We open the door to see Violet having an attack.

"Patton, check on Thomas, we don't know if the new traits affect Thomas yet." Patton nods while I walk in slowly, not wanting to worry her more.

"Hey, Violet, it's me, Virgil. I'm coming towards you." No response.

"Ok, I'm going to sit in front of you." Again no response.

"Is touch ok?" A slight nod, sighing softly, I reach out and touch her shoulder. She looks up at me, I smile softly. Suddenly, she's crying into my shoulder. I hold her close.

"Violet, Listen to my heartbeat, listen to my breathing, let's try to match yours to mine," I spoke softly. It took us about ten minutes but finally, she calmed down enough. Standing up and helping her up too, we head to the kitchen. We arrived to find Patton and Bailee arguing.

"You shouldn't leave her on her own!-"

"Again, I didn't! Virg-"

"Oh, great! Another anxious trait! Hows that going to help!"

Looking around the room, Logan and Luna were pulling apart Patton and Bailee, while Roman and Kadence noticed us and took us into the living room. They sat us down and told us to focus on our breathing.

Eventually, Patton and Bailee had finished arguing. They only stopped because Logan pointed out that Thomas would get angry and get a migraine.

After about 2 minutes of silence, Patton and Bailee burst through the door, babbling a whole bunch of apologies our way. Flinching from the noise, I cover Violets ears so she won't be affected.

Once they calmed down, Logan and the two parental figures sank down to check up on Thomas. Luna advised us to eat something quickly before going to rest for the rest of the day.
