Gene x reader: Bad love

Will you go to prom with me?

time skip to 8 pm

I was in my losse clothes and I looked into the body mirror. I remembered last time I looked into this mirror. I'm growing up..

I was wearing loose sweatshirt that had my old gangs logo on it.. and my black leggings. I was about to cry again... my dad is alive for awhile and it's my chance...

Y/N: will this night be more surprising? *inhales* I don't know..

I walked to put my shoes on then I stepped on something. I picked it up and It was a old drawing I drew in art class.. a sketch of me and Gene spraying the Shadowknight logo. I wanted to cry again but I ran out of tears already.

Y/N: *smiles and has little tears in the corner of her (yours) eyes* Gene... and my dad understand me .. so does my mom but mostly those two..

----Gene's POV----

I was getting my spray cans in my bag and I looked out my window. I'm actually asking someone to prom..

Gene: Its your chance to tell her that you love her Gene! At prom..

I looked at the time on my phone and it was 8:30.

Gene: I need to be heading to her house..

I was about to walk out the door of my room then I realized I forgot something.

Gene: Shoot! *goes back in*

I take out a little box. I opened it and it was a picture of me and Y/N taking a selfie few months ago. I smiled at it and I still remember when she took it.

---- Flash back To when selfie taken ----

Y/N: Gene look here!

I looked at the the camera and didn't expect a selfie..

Y/N: *looks at picture from her phone* Aww! I'll send it to you!

Gene: 0-0 I bet I looked horrible! I wasn't expecting a selfie!

Y/N giggled and showed me the selfie. It was Y/N sticking her tongue out and me looking at the camera.. man I actually look hot..

Gene: ohhh

Y/N: *smiles* I'll send it

Gene: *blushes and smiles*

----- Flashback ends ----

I put the picture in the thin box and I took out another box.

Gene: This box will be given at prom...but I need to get going

I put the meduim size box down and I walked out the door to Y/N's house.

----- Back to Y/N's POV----

It was 9 already and I was laying in my bed... I'm actually happy.. my father is alive for a few hours and the procedure worked.

Suddenly I got a text.

Y/N: huh? *turns on phone and sees text*

Gene: Hey tough one would you mind going to your backyard? ❤

Y/N: On my way

I got up from my bed and said.

Y/N: Why is Gene in my backyard?

I walked downstairs to the backyard. I opened the door and went outside and I couldn't believe what I'm seeing....

It was a sprayed painted... of a heart labeled: Will you go to prom with me?

I covered my mouth with both of my hands and I was about to cry of joy!

Gene, Zenix and Sasha came out of nowhere and Gene was in front of me.

Gene: *hands me a little box* open it *blushes*

I opened the box and it was the cute selfie I took with Gene few months ago...

I was suddenly bursting to tears of joy..

Gene: *lifts my chin* You crying?!

I nodded my head still sobbing and blushing.

Gene: *chuckles and blushing* aww... but... will you go to prom with me?

Y/N: *wipes tears* I will!

I jumped on Gene and hugged him. He  spun me around while hugging and after his spun we were looking at each other... holding each other..

Gene puts me down and I was still wiping my tears.

Gene: I didn't expect you crying though, did anything else happen?

Y/N: *nods* At midnight I'm visiting my father...

Gene: But I thought he--

Y/N: he didn't really die in a car accident... my mom told the truth of his "death" to me few hours ago because... he's alive for a few hours!

Gene: Im very happy for you Y/N...

Zenix: This is probably your best night

Y/N: heh ya...

Gene hugged me again and I hugged him back.

We looked at each other and Gene cups my cheeck.

Gene: I need to be going.. but go see your father and I'm hype for prom with you..

Y/N: *sniffles* Thank you...

We parted and I was walking backwards towards my house , the three were waving bye, and I waved bye and went inside... this is one of my best nights..Now be ready to see my dad...

I go up to my room and hang up the selfie of me and Gene.

Y/N: .......I love you Gene... can't wait to tell you... it's my chance...
