Jughead's  pov

I call Archie and told him if he would help me make sure nothing happens between betty and Carlos since I can only see betty after school and in science class she has all her classes with Carlos .

~~~THE PHONE CALL~~

Jughead : come on  dude I haven't seen vaneza in a long time and I wanted to catch up with her and I was also a little jealous of how much betty was talking to Carlos .

Archie: I get that but what do you want me to do I mean I could make sure nothing happens but come on Jug we are talking about betty she is so predictable and loyal and she will never cheat or hurt you in any way.

Jughead: I guess you are right maybe I'm just scared to lose her and you're right if something did happen or before it happens you can predict it she is really predictable.

Archie: okay jug see you tomorrow at school bye.

Jughead: okay bye.

Betty's POV

Archie was over he wanted to meet Carlos and the three of us did our homework together when we were on the math homework Archie got a phone call form Jughead and I said " answer it Ill be back in going for a snack" he said "ok" me and Carlos left he was in the kitchen playing with Toby I went up to my room to see if he was done with his call I heard him said "Betty she so predictable and loyal she will never hurt you in any way" he was right me being loyal and being predictable I don't want to be predictable I haven't told no one that I know south side people and that I go to the south side people form the north side are wrong about the serpents what they do is to survive and the kids are just like us just fearless I don't know what it is but when in in the south side I feel like I belong on there my mom was a serpent when she was my age and grow up there but she meet my dad and she left to the north side I wonder why the south side is the best. I heard Archie said "bye" I ran down stairs and picked up Maya and she gave me a big smile Archie came down stairs and said "I'm done with my call are we finishing the homework" I said "yes" the three of us ran up stairs and fish our homework then Archie left I texted my sounth side friend and told him if he could wait for me at pops.

3rd person POV

Betty head to pops and she meet Jacob and Juaquin there she went to the south side with them and told them about her day she knew FP's trailer she went and knock on the door FP answer the door and ask betty "Betty what are you doing here" she smile and said "um I want you to teach me self defends and I want to be a serpent" he gave her a shook face the though of Alice Bettys mom and how she got in the serpents but he was scared to trust betty he knew she wasn't like Alice but he didn't wanted to let betty join the serpents be though she would leave them like Alice he said "why you want to know self defends?" betty and FP sit down on the stairs out side the trailer she told him everything from how she has been going to the south side to how she didn't felt like she didn't meant to be in the north side because she couldn't be here self he made a deal with her "okay betty ill teach you self defends and ill see how good you are and then we will see if you have what it takes to be a serpent" she smiled and said "really thank you when do we start?" he saw something in betty's eyes he saw darkness then smile and said "tomorrow and don't tell no one you have been coming here the north side will think you betrayed them ok" she smile and said " okay I wont let no one know I've been here in the south side"

~~~ next day at school~~~

Betty's POV

Carlos and I walked to school and went to our lockers I was a little tired and I couldn't concentrated I was so happy I was going the unexpected after we got our thing me and Carlos walk to the student launch where Veronica, Archie , Kevin and jughead they were all there Veronica came to me and said "b why do you look tired it looks like you barely slept last night" I was nervous they couldn't know I was in the south side until 4 am spray painting abandoned places then I heard Carlos said "yeah where you Polly told me to check on you because you didn't ate dinner" I said " I was at pops and then I went on a walk I wanted to think and be alone" Veronica knew I was lying but said "everything ok b you know were here we all are" I smile and said "I know I'm fine" then Vanessa came in so I left no know this but yesterday when I came back from the south side and I enter pops she came and told me to stay away from jughead and that when she wants something she gets it and I didn't stay away I was going to hurt I normally I would be scared but I didn't I was scared of her I diced to leave because Jacob was calling me this isn't normal he never does this so I thought it was a emergency I left and answer.
