Imagine: Lame

Its the beginning of spring and prom is coming up in 2 weeks and I wasn't planning on going but my best gay friends Kevin decided for me so I didn't really have a choice

Kendall's POV:
I'm sitting on the couch, scrolling through my feed while waiting for my bff. After 15 minutes of sitting on the couch and waiting I hear a knock on my door, and yeah there he is my best gay friend Kevin, I wasn't really exited too go too the mall bc I'm not a big fan of shopping and I'm definitely not a big van of prom I just think it's lame, but I have too go bc Mr.Keller (a/n I based Kevin of of kevin Keller from riverdale) decided that I had too go bc he got a boyfriend and he asked him too be his date for prom but he never really had a boyfriend so I have too be there for "emergencys"
After listening too him how exited he is for shopping we got in my Jeep and drove too the mall
*skip drive too the mall*
Kevin just took me with him and slurred me into shops, after 3 hours of looking we finally got a beautiful red dress that fitted perfectly.

2 week later aka day of prom

It was the day of prom I was freaking out and I don't even know why bc I don't have anything too freak out about, maybe it's bc I'm sooo exited for Kevin or is it that I just never had a prom before.
I had too do everything alone except my nails that's the thing I'm worried about bc I am not the type of girl that wears makeup often i may have a lot of makeup but I'm not really a beauty guru. 3:17 PM I'm gonna start of with my hair then the makeup and then finally my dress. I finished, after 3 long hours of doing my hair and make up.
(Final look)

I was going alone so I didn't have a taxi or something so I had too choose my dad or the bus 🚌 I guess the choice was obvious. My dad is a really chill guy he is 36 years old and that's pretty young for a guy that has 2 children and too be exact twins, yeaay I have a twin brother named Jack he is kinda of my best friend. But back too reality my dad drove me of too the prom location I guess I was a little late bc everybody was inside and that make me even more worried bc most of the time the late runners get the most attention and I really didn't want al that attention. And yeaay I was right everyone was staring at me that's one of the damn reasons I didn't want too come here, but I was here so there is no going back. Me being me I got too the table were al the food was took a chair and just sat there playing a stupid game on my phone till someone tapped my shoulder, it was Shawn he is a pretty shy guy that I had a slightly crush since 7th grade. I didn't was that awkward kinda girl so i just said: what are you doing here so alone Mendes. witch he responded with: gotta ask you the same Queen (her full name is Kendall Queen) I just sight and said: I asked first, sooo witch of you're friends dragged you with them. He answered with: Cameron Dallas and you. I was kinda of surprised bc Cameron was the guy Kevin was going with so I replied with: wow what's the world small I got dragged by with Kevin 😂 he just chuckled and sat next too me, we had a small chat and then he came with the question: why are you alone I thought you got asked out by someone. I just answered with: oh I just told them I didn't want too but I guess it didn't work bc I'm sitting here. He laughed and we chatted further and then there came a slow song and Shawn asked me if I wanted too dance 💃🏼 I obviously said yes, when we started too dance we just talked for a while and then he told me: I forgot too say something , you look really nice tonight. I just blushed and looked down then he took his hand and stroked my hair and putted it behind my ear, he started leaning In and kissed me I was shook but I kissed him back after 15 very long seconds he pulled away smiling and said: is prom still so lame? I just laughed and kissed him again. And inside of my head I was really thankful I got too this "lame" prom.
