Chapter 6: date night

As I was walking home some person in a blue truck pulled over I couldn't make out the face but i knew it was a guys.

The Guy in the truck asked if I needed a ride? before I said no I saw it was jake.

Me: oh hey jake I didn't know it was u

Jake: oh well hey hop in

I hopped in the truck.

Jake: hey I didn't see u after 5th hour we have 6th hour together. why weren't u their?

Me: oh well some 9th grader was having lots of trouble and she....um..was lost and her class was all the way in building C.

Jake: oh ok hopefully this girl found where she needed to go.

Me: ya hopefully she remembers

After I told jake my address and I hugged him good bye and said thank you and right before I got out of the truck jack grabbed my arm.

Jake: hey Katy

Me: ya?

Jake: do u wanna go out some time?

Me: sure anytime :)

Jake: tonight?

Me: can't tonight mom wants us...to um Skype my to have dinner with my dad.

Jake: ok another time?

Me: sure :)

I put on a fake smile and walked away when I said something about my dad I had just lied big time. my father was sick and was in the hospital and we later found out he had cancer and he got through it for a year and we wanted to surprise him at the hospital with a big breakfast. and right when we got in his last word to us was hey my babys. and the monitor went of and my daddy was dead.

But tomorrow's his birthday so I can just tell jake if he ask I'll be like it's tomorrow but I can't talk about it.

I get ready and I take money for a cab over to mr. Fitz I mean Adams house. I straightened my hair and put on some mascara and eyeshadow. Then I put on my nice skirt and a T-shirt that says "boom" in a pick and blue. I grabbed my money and walked down stairs.

Joey: were r u going...

Me: to a movie with hope.

Mom: do u want me to take u?

Me: no I'm just ganna get a cab.

Mom: do u have the money?

Me: yay it's not that far.

As we said out goodbyes I walked out the door and saw Adam in my drive way I was go crazy in my head as I ran to the car I hoped in and he laughed.

Adam: I found the right house

Me: how'd u know I live here?

Adam: school helped a little

Then we left it was weird in the car then Adam grabbed my hand and I didn't know what to do so I just left it there. we had gotten food on the way from Buffalo Wild Wings.

We gotten into his apartment and I say on his couch he brought the food over to me and say down with his and turned the tv on.

Adam: so tell me y did u feel the reason to lie to me

Me: is this y u wanted me over?

I put my food on table and as I was getting up he grabbed my arm and pulled me in front of him and our eyes meet again. We kissed and ended up kissing all the way to his bed.

Then as we were undressed and under the covers some one knocked on the door. I ran to the bathroom and I heard my mothers voice........
