ETERNAL DREAMS.

Taekwoon's POV.

Walking down these hospital corridors wasn't new. I must have on this corridor over a million times now.Each bend, each room, each staff member that worked here I knew, for I've been coming here for almost 3 years now.

'Room 620' I read in my mind as I stopped walking and looked to my right. Sure enough there it is. This dreadful room, the room in which she's been living for almost 3 years now. She never left this room for she was trapped, trapped in an eternal sleep, for almost 3 years.

I walked in. The light blue curtains were drawn slightly, allowing the morning sun rays to fall on her bed where she laid, her blanket kept her body warm as her eyes kept shut.

I sat on the chair that was next to her. I looked at her. She was so beautiful. Her black wavy hair spread on her pillow, her fringe covering her forehead. Her beautiful eyes closed, her pink lips were a little dull now.

I looked at the screens behind her which monitored her. Everything from the slightest twitch to a heartbeat was monitored. She was in this eternal sleep since the day of that car crash.

I read articles about comas, and each one I read made me loose hope each time. I come to stay with her whenever I can. I sit on this chair and talk to her even though I know she's unaware of anything that happens around her. I tell her about the stuff that happens at the office, I told her about the good news that happened in her family, that her niece that was born a few months ago.

My hand which was stroking her head shifted to her face as the back of my fingers grazed her soft cheek as a small smile appeared on my lips. The first time I did this was when we went on our first date years ago. She blushed a bright pink when I touched her cheek and kissed her. I couldn't help but smile when I saw how shocked she was.

Now she's here, in this dreaded place where she remains a prisoner. I wish I could wake her up from her sleep. But I couldn't, I couldn't be the prince who's kiss would wake up my princess from her eternal sleep. I could just wait and hope, hope that she won't leave and that one day, those eyelids will open up and I will be able to look in  to her beautiful brown eyes to tell her how much she means to me, tell her that I love her for eternity.

It was a beautiful night. The neighborhood was quiet and the sound of the crickets echoed in the background. Only our footsteps disturbed the silent night. I remember looking at the bright white moon and the silver stars which looked so magical. The lack of street lamps on my neighborhood wasn't a problem as the bright moonlight covered the street like a blanket. One of my hands was fidgeting with the corner of my knee length dress as the other held Taekwoon's hand. We were on our way to my house after dinner. He took me on a date that night, our first date.

I remember laughing and enjoying myself with him at the restaurant. We were both enjoying ourselves, no doubt it was a great first date. The restaurant was close enough to my house so we walked back home. It was then I suddenly felt nervous. I started to pay attention to the starry night and the peaceful environment.

We went walking quietly until I saw my house just a few blocks away. I stopped walking and looked at Taewoon who looked back at me, his dark beautiful eyes looking in to mine,his black hair falling in front of his eyes made him look even more sexier. He was tall and handsome. I still couldn't believe how well our date went that night.

" Thank you Taekwoon, I had a lot of fun on this date. "

" Me too."

" Well then.. um.. goodnight."
