How We Met

Chapter 3

I've been on this ship for about three days now. It's Thursday. Lord Megatron just left the ship and I am about to leave as well. However, the robots decided to dress me up as Soundwave. I'd wear a helmet that covers my entire face and that's about it. Well, besides my clothes.

I got into Knockout's vehicle mode and he drove through a portal which seemed to have brought us back down to Earth and to where Soundwave picked me up from. I gave Knockout directions to my house. He pulled into the driveway behind our camper and used his holoform to look over at me.

"If you escape, I'm shooting you.", Knockout warned, I nodded.

"I don't plan to escape at all. It might sound strange but I like living with you and your other robot pals better than with my own family.", I stated.

Knockout got out and unlocked the doors so I could get out. I walked up to the house and pulled my key out of my pocket. I unlocked the house and allowed Knockout to walk in before me. Everyone was either at work or school so I knew the dog was in her kennel.

We walked further into the house and when Knockout passed the dog's cage, he jumped. I smirked.

"What?", he snapped.

"You're a giant robot and you're scared of a simple mutt?", I asked.

"I am not! I just...wasn't expecting it.", Knockout glared.

"I believe ya.", I smiled.

"You believe me that easily? One day that could get you in trouble.", Knockout said, surprised.

"I believe you that easily because I trust you. I didn't trust my parents. Something seemed off about them.", I explained, "Come on."

I brought him to my room and we started packing all my stuff. Every once in a while, he'd ask me if something was mine and I'd turn around and say no. It was funny actually. When we got everything packed up, the door opened. I picked up a box and made my way to Knockout's alt mode.

"There you are.", my mother said with fake worry, "I was so worried."

"Yeah, I'm sure you were.", I half snapped and half growled.

"Where do you think you're going?", mom asked.

"I'm moving.", I answered, "Just me. I'm going to live with a few friends."

"You aren't going anywhere.", mom said and took the box from me.

"Says the woman who never took care of me. All you did was make sure I went to school. Since I was 6, I've had to feed myself.", I said and took the box back.

I walked to the back of Knockout's alt mode and set the box inside.

"I fed you.", mom said, "I make dinner."

"How many times a month?", I asked, she stayed silent, "That's what I thought."

"At least introduce me to the people you are going to live with.", mom said as she followed me.

"Fine.", I said as Knockout walked out of the house, "Mom, this is Knockout. Knockout, this is my mom."

"I'm Sarah.", mom smiled, "I trust my daughter will be safe with you and will still be going to school?"

"We will make sure she finishes her education.", Knockout answered and turned to me, "My car is full so I'm going to head home. Breakdown will be meeting you here in a minute."

"Alright.", I nod and Knockout leaves, "Don't even start with me."

I head back inside and bring a bunch of boxes to the foyer. When Breakdown arrived, we filled his trunk, backseat, and passenger seat. He headed back to the bridge. Knockout returned and it was the same thing over and over. Knockout and Breakdown would take turns filling their cars and head to base.

In other words, when one bot was here, the other was at the base. They'd switch every once in a while. After an hour of loading and unloading, I was finally moved out. I handed my mom the key to the house she had given me and left. When we got back to the warship, I was dropped off outside of a room.

"Is this where I'm staying?", I asked.

"Yes. I have to go back to the med bay.", Knockout answered and left rather quickly.

"How do I even get inside?", I asked myself.

"Leave that to me.", I turned and spotted Lord Megatron, I bowed, "Rise, pet. Soundwave is working on installing a smaller door for you."

He put in a code and the door opened. Megatron helped carry the boxes into the room and anything that was too heavy for me to lift. I started unpacking the boxes and getting everything in place. I was finished within an hour or two.

"Lord Megatron, during my stay here, what would you like me to do?", I asked.

"Soundwave will be giving you a set of computers. You are to use the computers for surveillance only. During the day, you will be attending Jasper High School. The Autobots have three human pets that visit and that they protect. I want you to find out more about them. Find their weaknesses.", Megatron explained, "On top of all that, you are my aid. If I call for you, I expect you to be in that place awaiting orders."

"My liege, this ship is huge. I'm going to need something to travel on to get to places quicker.", I stated, "Maybe once I'm on Earth, if you'll allow it, I'd like to get some kind of transportation to use only on the ship and only when you need me."

"I'll allow it.", Megatron said and left the room.
