Chapter Six

Dani's PoV

Did I hear that right? So my Dad is actually my Step Dad?

"What?" I asked.

"Yeah confusing isn't it? Can I come in?" He replied.

"Yeah sure"

I lead him into my house to see everyone gathered round something. Jess was on the phone crying.

"Guys what happened?" I asked started to get scared.

"Ashton fainted and he's unconscious" Calum told me.

"Micheal?" Luke and Calum said at the same time.

"You guys know each other?" I asked confused.

"Oh... Um. Y-Yeah" Luke stuttered.

"Okay" I said slightly confused.

"An Ambulance is on its way" Jess told us.

I can't believe this is happening. Ashton doesn't deserve this. I've only known him for a while, but he is a lovely person.

We've been in the hospital for about an hour now. There not letting us in to see Ashton.

"Hi guys. I'm afraid Ashton is really bad. Something has gotten into his brain. We're not sure what yet, but we've got an idea. He is so bad we have had to put him in a coma" The doctor told us.

"WHAT?" Jess screamed.

"Sshh Jess it's fine" Calum told her whilst pulling her into a hug.

"Were sorry, but we had no choice. We have also just found out his Mum was in hospital. She has just passed away" The doctor called Paul told us.

"Oh. My. Gosh" I whispered.

"I know" Luke said.

I can't believe this is happening. Him, Jess and Livvie seemed really close. I turned to see Livvie crying quietly. Jess is lying in Calums arms crying.

Since we've got to the hospital Micheals been really quiet.

"C-Can w-we see hi-" Jess got cut off.

beeeeeeeeeeep.......beeeeeeeeep.... beeeeeeeeep

"ASHTON" Jess screamed.

Ashton's PoV

"Mum? Is that you?" I asked.

I felt bright light in my eyes. It really hurt.

"Yes it is darling" She replied smiling.

"Where are we?" I asked.

All I could see is white. It kind of looked like my Mum and I were floating. I saw some other random people 'floating' aswell, but I didn't know who they were.

"I'm sorry darling. I couldn't tell you. Your friends couldn't tell you either because you were in a coma, but I passed away" She replied.

"What? So why am I with you? Surley I can't be with you if your dead. Mum? What has happened? Mum?" I questioned.

"Darling. You just need to try really hard. That's all I can tell you. You love Jess don't you? You love her alot. So you need to try really hard"

"Try hard for what Mum?"

"I have to go darling. I love you. I love you alot"

"TRY HARD FOR WHAT MUM?"

"You will find out"

That was it. She was gone. What do I do now?

"Ashton. I love you. Please don't leave me" I heard Jess's voice.

"Come on buddy. You're a stong person" I heard Calum's voice.

"Yeah. That's right. Don't give up on us man"

That's Micheals voice. Micheal?

"WHERE ARE YOU GUYS" I screamed. I looked around and couldn't see anyone.

Come on Ashton. You can do this. You can find them. I can do this.

I opened my eyes to see Jess sitting on the floor next to me. I'm on a bed? In a hospital?

"Ashton? You're awake?" Livvie whispered.
