The first day of school

It's 2AM. It's quiet in Burberry Street, but that doesn't mean all people are sleeping. Lily looks at the ceiling with here eyes wide open. There's something in her eyes, but I can't tell if its fear or sleepiness. "Tomorrow... the first day of school" she thinks by herself. Lily wasn't really social. She was... different. While the other kids where gossiping about everything and everyone and taking selfies for snapchat, Lily was reading her books. The first year was horrible for her. People didn't appreciate her for what she did and wear. Lily had very different clothes. But she was really pretty. She didn't wear a crop top, but she wore a self sown sweater, a black leather skirt and a legging with cute little black cats. What's wrong with that? Would you think. I think the same thing. I'm sorry but I ... no one knows the answer to that question.

The pink little alarm clock goes off. 6AM it says. Lily doesn't wake up. She only slept for 3 hours. Of course she wouldn't wake up. Her mom walks in at 8AM. "Honey..." she said with a sleepy voice. "Wake up". Lily wakes up slow, she mumbles and she falls asleep again. Her mom walks up to her bed and she wakes her up gently. She moans lightly. "Huh.... what time is it?' The sleepy girl said. "A quarter past 8" she answered. It took 15 minutes to wake lily up, sleepyhead. Lily realised it was that late and she missed the bus. "Oh sh**t" she curses. Her mom answered laughing: "I beg your pardon". Lily looks ashamed and her mom continues laughing at here.

It was a quarter to 9. School starts in 15 minutes. Lily didn't showered, she didn't had time, so she putted a lot (really a lot) deodorant down her armpits. She checks if she has all of her books ,her school supplies and, of course, her lunch. But she needed to find out how she'll get to school in 15 minutes. It's 20 minutes if you'll bike fast, and 30 if you bike slow. She stepped outside and freaked out. Her mom left for work so there's no car, the bus is already gone and after this fiasco she has only 11 minutes so she'll never be at school in time. She sees a boy panicking too across the street. She yells unashamed at him. "Hey! What's wrong?" She ran to the panicking boy who looks like her age. She was going to be late no matter what. "I slept through my alarm clock and now I'm going to be late to my first day of school..... not that anyone cares" the mystery boy said. He said the last thing really quiet but lily still heard it. "Same here" lily replies with rolling eyes.

Lily and the boy are running to the school, lily was crying. They're running to their class, math. The teacher looks shocked. "I...-I fell of my bike..." lily says while the whole class is laughing, but she didn't finished her sentence. She continues with "... someone accidentally ran me over". "And that would be me" the boy replies with an awkward smile. "If it wouldn't be Luke Donovan..." the teacher said with a little disappointment in his voice. "What brings us to our new subject... Luke Donovan is a new student... not really on this school... but in this class." The teacher said. "Yeah I thought... let's do second grade again" Said the boy who's name is apparently Luke very cool and with a smirk on his face. "That's not exactly what happened" the teacher replied but he lost attention and it sounded like a zoo in summer break in the classroom. There were 2 chairs left in the room, they were next to each other. But there was another chair left, next to a pretty girl. Lily sat in the couple of free chairs, a part of her hoped that Luke was going to sit next to her, but the other part didn't care. Luke walks a few steps and he walks straight up to the end of the classroom, straight to the other girl actually. Lily felt some sort of jealousy in her, but then he walked past the girl and walked to the front of the classroom again. And then he was sitting next to lily. There was some awkward space between them, but lily didn't mind that. He was sitting next to her!
