After many other dances it was finally time for the awards ceremony! I was getting nervous then. When they called our ballet, I knew it wasn't going to be first. I was right. It wasn't first it was second. Then for jazz we got first! Tap, we also got first! When it was Britney's turn for her award they didn't call her. She didn't place. Then for my solo. I was so nervous! Olivia and Brianna got first for theirs. Would if I don't? Then they called my dance. "1000 Miles, first place" I was so happy I could barely hold my trophy! Everyone did great! I was already excited for the next years competition! But little did I know, as we got older the competitors got better.
