It was day 1 of survival and I've already heard rumors of survival in Texas over my emergency radio. The problem is I'm in California. I had to get supplies for my journey, so I grab the basic necessities; food, water, and a first aid kit. I grab a hair band and put my hair up into a high ponytail. When I start to leave I grab my shotgun, loads of ammo, and my pocket knife. I decide not to use my motorcycle, it'll make to much noise.
I slowly open my door to my apartment and cautiously close it. I point my shotgun at anything that moves, and slowly start making my way down the hall. As I move throughout the apartment complex, there is blood smeared all over the walls, I silently gag. The smell is overpowering. As I reach daylight, I'm walking the roads and decide on some rules.
1. Never give up
2. Don't be a superhero
3. Don't be curious
4. Stay in the shadows
5. Be cautious while entering buildings
6. Lookout for survivors
7. Play it safe
8. Know your limits
9. And most importantly STAY ALIVE!
The sun was setting fast and I needed shelter. I looked around and decided on a abandoned mansion. I kick open the front door, and the house is silent. I slowly move throughout the house and then I hear large, heavy footsteps coming from upstaris. I panic looking for a hiding place. I find the garage and some keys. I grab them and shut the garage door silently and unlock the car. I get it and lock it behind me. "Damn, this is a limo." , I whisper to myself. I look around and found some blankets, and make myself a bed. As my eyes get heavy, I drift off to sleep.
