Chapter 5

Alpha softly sat Kitten upon her bed before sitting at her feet signing profusely apologizing. Kitten stops his hands 'You do not owe me any apology for the actions of your brother.'. 'I do though I should of known he was going to do something like that.' Alpha signs. Kitten smiles at him before resting her forehead against his. Alpha begins to calm as Kitten looks into his eyes. 'I should have protected you.' Alpha signs. 'And you did. Your mutation is very cute by the way.' Kitten signs with a giggle. 'I'm not cute.' Alpha signs with a snarl. 'Well since I've seen your mutation. I'll show you mine. Just think of something in extreme detail:' Kitten signs. 'Think of something?' Alpha questions with a raised brow. 'With your permission I will read your mind and then show you my mutation.' She signs. Alpha nods his head yes as Kitten rest her forehead on his.

She cups her hands around his as Alpha starts to feel a warmth is his hands. There a is a slight weight in his hands as Kitten pulls her forehead away from his with a smile. Alpha opens his hands as Sindogo, Lin and Zed enter the room. "Hey your cook friend sent a bento box for you two." Sindogo calls bringing in the huge bento box. Alpha looks at his hands as a smile of pure joy crosses his face, he grabs Kitten pulling her into a tight embrace. Kitten giggles as she hugs him back. Alpha then quickly sets Kitten on the bed before rushing over to Lin and Sindogo showing them the item in his hand. Sindogo and Lin both stare with a look of amazement and bewilderment. 'How did you get that? Your mother lost that years ago in the fire.' Lin finally questions. Alpha points to Kitten with a broad smile. "That is my mutation. They call it creation." She states.

"That jade dragon hairpin was passed down for generations in Alphas family. His mother never let it out of her sight. How did you even know about it?" Sindogo questions. "I read Alphas mind. He imagined it all I did was make it something real." Kitten answers standing smiling to everyone. "So you can literally create anything?" Sindogo questions with a raised brow. "Everything you see in this room I created." She smiles. "I'm next!" Sindogo calls out rushing toward Kitten. Sindogo is quickly caught by Alpha with one hand. Alpha sets Sindogo back away from Kitten grabbing the bento box setting it next to Kitten. 'Eat.' Alpha signs as he sets on the floor lost in the detail of the hairpin in his hands. Kitten happily starts to eat and starts randomly shoving bites into Alphas mouth without either thinking about it. Sindogo gets a wicked smile as something occurs to him. He squats down in front of Alpha catching his attention as Kitten gives him another bite of food. 'You do realize you two are using the same chopsticks right. Indirect Kiss!' Sindogo signs with a wink. Alpha looks at him confused for a second before the realization of what he had been doing hits him. Alpha turns beat red as he sternly looks at the ground with wide eyes. Sindogo, and Lin erupt in laughter as they see this unfold while Zed shakes his head.

"So this mutation can you create living things?" Zed questions Kitten as she puts the bento away. "That is something I'm not allowed to do within these walls. I can create anything wether  it be fictional or realistic. Nightmares to reality or lock someone in their own mind. I can be someone's worst nightmare or their dream come true." Kitten answers as her eyes go smokey as if remembering things long past.

Alpha suddenly jumps up from the floor scaring everyone. 'I can give this to Mother on Visitation Day!' He signs excitedly. 'She would really love that.' Lin and Sindogo agree. 'If that's okay with you Kitten?' Alpha turns questioning? 'I would love for you mother to have it.' Kitten signs happily. 'What is Visitation Day?' Kitten then signs confused. 'The day when people can come visit and sit with you. Do you not get visitors Kitten?' Alpha questions with a look of concern across his face. 'I guess I don't. I mean I have Daddy Warden and the others here all the time there is really no one else I would like to see.' Kitten answers with a forced smile. 'One day you could join me in seeing my parents.' Alpha signs a little sheepishly. 'I think I would enjoy that.' Kitten signs with a yawn.

Kitten falls back asleep on her bed as the others step outside the cell. 'I didn't expect him to go that far in the first day.' Sindogo signs. 'I should of.' Alpha signs as his body tenses up. 'He's going to go after her now since she's rejected him.' Lin signs with a sigh. 'We will have to make sure either he is never alone or she's never alone.' Sindogo signs. Alpha rubs a hand across his face were a harsh scowl has taken the place of his usual smile. 'He will not touch her or the next time I will hurt more than his pride.' Alpha signs as the others nod in agreement.
