Part 20 (The End)

I picked up my phone and clicked on Nate's contact, I don't want to sound like a whiny bitch but I'm bored and just wanna hang out with someone. I heard the phone ring for a couple of seconds until he answered "Hello?" "Do you wanna do something with me?" I asked.

"Yeah sure but there's a party in a couple of hours at my place do you want to come to that instead of whatever else you were planning?" he asked. "How could I say no?" I say with a giggle "Ok I'll pick you up from your house" "Nate it's your party you don't have to do that". "That way I'll know your safe" he said "Ok see you soon" I said "bye" he replied, I hung up the phone. I decided to get ready now since I needed makeup a few minutes to freak out about what I'm going to wear and then straighten my hair.

I heard Nate's car pull up into my driveway so I took off my heels so I could run downstairs. I quickly put my heels back on and opened up the door to see Nate who was about to open the door. "Hey" he smiled "Hey" he reached out for my hand and I put my hand in his as we walked over to his car.

"Red dress I like it" Nate commented as he opened up the passenger door for me and I hoped in "Since when did you turn into such a gentleman" I stated. "You make me one" he stated as he hoped in the drivers seat.

Nate pulled up into his driveway while people were walking in his house and started dancing to the loud blaring music. I got out of the car and wrapped my arm around Nate's as we walked in. As soon as I walked in with Nate I could see Jack and he saw me, I watched as he clenched his jaw and began to get angry.

I let go of Nate's arm and decided to get a drink "So what was that all about huh?" Jack slurred. Of course the drunk loveable Jack would come to talk to me. "I don't know what you're talking about" I stated "Yes you do you liar" he basically yelled. "You are drunk and you are causing a scene" I whisper yelled, I grabbed his arm and dragged him through the crowd of people up to one the guest bedroom.

I opened the door and pushed him into the room and shut the door behind me "Ohhh controlling Tara" he smirked. "What's wrong with you" I said while crossing my arms "What's wrong with you, you're the one who started dating Nate and now you're locking yourself in a room with me, especially when you know we can't control ourselves around each other" he said while trying to act serious.

"3 things 1. I'm not dating Nate he's just my ride 2. I can control myself and I locked you in here because you're embarrassing yourself and me and 3. You're sobering up" I stated. "Please Tara I can't go through this again" he admitted "Go through what?" I asked while not really understanding what he was referring too.

"I can't go through falling in love with you again to have you want someone else" he continued. I froze looking at him and for the first time I believed it when he told me he loved me this isn't just regular Jack this is emotional Jack.

I sat down on the bed beside him "So you love me huh?" I said while trying to make things a little less awkward and stressful. He looked at me and then laid down on the bed and I laid beside him as we both starred at the ceiling.

"I want you to pick one last time" he stated "you mean between you and Grayson again don't you" I said. "Yeah it's hard moving on from you and I want to know for sure" he said as I sighed. For the first time I actually might have a decision maybe it's just a temporary thing or it might be the real thing. I pushed it out of my thoughts for the moment and wrapped my arm around his torso.

I looked on a desk and saw a picture of Nate, Sammy, Johnson, Jack and I all standing together. "We've been through a lot together" I randomly stated "like not as a couple but as friends" I said. "You know when I first met you I thought you were the cutest most down to earth guy....I was borderline obsessed but then I thought you didn't like me so I didn't really bother" I admitted.

"Then when we did start flirting and all of that, we became friends and benefits" I continued.  "I didn't know that" he said with a smirk on his face "But on the subject of random conversations why did you and Nate break up?" He asked.

"Didn't Nate tell you?" I asked "Yeah he did but I want to know what actually happened because I don't think he is telling the truth" he stated. "We broke up because we actually weren't that in love with each other anymore by the end of it, but one of the main reasons was because when I met you I got all these feelings for you, and if you love something then you should set if free and I love Nate so I set him free" I explained.

I sighed "Nate is very special to me" I stated "Why?" Jack asked "I was in a bad place when I met him and he helped me, he made me feel alive and loved, he was just what I needed and I will forever love and thank him for that because if it wasn't for him I wouldn't be who I am now" I explained once again.

"Wow I didn't know he meant so much to you" he said "Wait if he means so much and you love him then why are you deciding between Grayson and I?" he asked. I thought about it for a second and I couldn't honestly answer the question I don't know why I didn't think about Nate. I got off the bed and looked at Jack "Give me a second and I'll make my decision" I said as I walked out of the room.

I stood at the top of the the stairs and looked near the bathroom to see Grayson walking out. So I looked at bottom of the stairs to see Nate talking to someone so then I quickly glanced at Jack laying on the bed behind me. They are all here it's time to make my decision I pulled my phone out of my pocket and starred at the screen.

I unlocked my phone and went to my contacts an dialled the number and after it rang for a while he answered "I choose you" I said through the phone.

Who do you want Tara to be with??
