Freedom is costly

Chapter 1: The beggining

Vitreous POV:

"Vitreous please come down here and get ready to go to town because we need more food," mom said with a smile looking up to me in a huge tree.

Hi my name is Vitreous and I'm 18 as you may know,I have light purple hair a pure red eyes some people just fined it funny to call me a demon but I'm not I'm pretty sweet as my mother says but it gets hard to believe her sometimes.I hope down the tree I was on and made my way to the house like only about 50ft away,got through the back door when my little sister named Lily pounced on me and made me laid on my butt.She laughed and got off,I stood up and rubbed my butt a little and continued to my room and I got in my room went to my dresser and pulled out a light blue and purple striped t-shirt and light blue skirt.

Walked back in the living room to meet my mom's note on the door of the front of the house it said that she went to the town next over to buy something special over there and it might take her about 3 days to get back.I Shrugged and walked out to the door dad was home so lily wasn't going to alone so that made me happy,I get to the entrance of town when I heard screaming.Another accident might have been with a empire soldier(s) or other town fork see our town is poor so some people steal while others take by force this has been happening ever since the empire took over the world.

"Hey punk come back here you have to pay for that,"I hear some guy yelling at a kid that looked like about 5 years old and he kid passed me and I stopped him.

He looks up at me and had a scared look on he's face as I picked him up and then I saw the man that was yelling at the poor boy and the boy was trying to beg me to put him down but I held me grip on the boy.As the men was walking up to us,the boy started to move around in my arms,the man thanked me while trying to grab the boy but I backed away.The man gave me a funny look when I dropped the boy and put my foot on his head to keep him still and then I took some money from my pockets and gave the money to the man and let the boy go.

They thanked me and left in opposite ways and I walk straight to the market to buy us some dinner,when I got there less people than normal I wonder what happened so I shrugged and walked to the salad store where they make salad for you or you can buy the ingredients for the salad you want.I brought all the stuff we need for a salad and started to walk home when I saw a man on the ground bleeding and sitting in his own pool of his blood,he said that a group of men came in and killed his family and that right there scared the shit out of me.He started to scream at me to run because I guess he was telling me to go protect my family so I gripped the bag tightly and started to sprint home but when I got there I saw yellow and red flames and it was coming to my house so I turned the the corner.

My house was on FIRE and I screamed and ran to the house to open the door and find that my family was killed and the killer was in the back yard running and then the whole scene goes black.I woke up and I was on a single bed in a room that looks like a ceil in a jail so I got up and fell back down because I felt a sharp pain in my right arm and when I looked over to my arm there was a type of bandage rapped around it.Then I heard something in the same room as me and it sound like another human so I got back up and looked around when I heard it again and this is all I saw was three single beds and a another door.

"Looks like the new kid is awake you want to introduce yourself first or will I have to do it," the first voice said quietly

"I will besides it doesn't look like she can hurt us with one hurt arm and she looks kind of cute,"the other voice said

Then two figures come out of the shadows and there was two girls about my height one of them was little taller than me and had light grayish hair looks like to be a 16 year old and had golden eyes with little dark grey wolf ears on the top of her head and a dark grey wolf tail,she looks like a puppy dog.Then you got the other girl which was the height as me and had black hair looks like to be a 19 year old had two little small cat ears and tail with were grey with light pink eyes which looks like a small house kitty.They just stare at me like I was something to eat until the older one walked forward and began to talk and then the little dog kid came forward and introduce herself to me.

"Hi my name is Luna,what's yours,how old are you,when were yo--,"she was cut off by the older girl with pink eyes

"I'm sorry she gets excited when meeting new people,my name is Heaven,"she calming but a little annoyed by the behavior of Luna and I smiled

Then I introduced myself to Luna and Heaven and we started to talk about where we are and how they meet each other it seems that they had know n each other for a long time.I told them what happened to me and what I saw in my house,they just looked down for a second and then looked back up at me.I just gave them a funny look and was about to ask whats wrong but Heaven the smarter one out of the two started to talk.

"There is a legend about six kids with a weapons and two are mages will defeat the empire and save the world and bring freedom and law back into the land and that's why they killed your family,burned your house and brought you here because they don't want the people of the world to know that we are alive."Heaven said firmly and I felt some tears down my face and notice that I was crying.

They look at me and Heaven said that she shouldn't have told me even if she knew I wasn't going to cry and Luna came over to me and try's to cheer me up by dancing funny and saying jokes while Heaven was on the other side of me laughing to.I was happy that I wasn't going through this alone,then I said something that make them both look at me like I said think wrong.I told them that we need to make a plan out of here but I didn't how to and then find the other three kids and kill the empire.

They said that it might work but first need to find a way out of here and I nodded,Heaven said that she was a black Mage the one that the legend was talking about and all she can do right now was focus energy in her hand and shot it but if she does this it will hurt a little but not much.And so it begins the plan gets put into action and your journey has to save the world.
