Barry had spent some time with Stiles Scott, Lydia and the rest of their gang now. It had been over a week. It turns out Barry was just in the wrong place at the wrong time and that's why he was going to be killed but once the gang found out about him being the Flash they decided he should stick around for a bit, and help out. Barry became a part time science teacher at Beacon Hills High school and everything was okay. That was until he remembered his phone needed charging.
Once he'd plugged it in he knew how worried everyone was.

Barry was awestruck by how much people cared that he was gone but he wasn't going home but he couldn't let the police come, he just was too busy right now so he sent out a text.

IRIS, OLLY, JOE, BLAINE, CISCO, CAITLIN,
Hi. I'm ok. Don't come looking. I'm busy. I'm fine but busy. My phones been dead. Yes for three weeks, I didn't run away with a charger. I've made some friends, and I have a job. I repeat, don't come looking. You won't find me. I'm no longer in Missouri. Bye.
Barry found it easier to be blunt. Since he got a job he'd gotten a new phone as well as his old one. His new one was on a contract and his old one was pay as you go so it was easy. Scott and the gang had both numbers but they used the new one, it was easier since Joe and everyone only had the old one. After sending that message Barry turned off his old phone and then it in a draw in his new apartment. He vowed to check it in a few weeks but he knew he'd forget. He was just too busy right now.
