The Next Day

Sky's POV

The next time I woke up my helm felt as if some Con rammed a blade through it. I sit up and groaned at something poking my helm. I look over and see an empty wall. I finally had enough of whatever was poking my helm, I tackled whatever it was thinking it was another Cybertronian. . . .

But it wasn't. . . .

It

Was

Ratchet's

Equipment. . . . .

I felt my spark stall in its casing. . . .

I AM SO GONNA GET OFF-LINED!!!!!

"NOW WHAT IN THE NAME OF PRIMUS IS GOING ON?!" I hear Ratchet holler.

If I were human my faceplates would be pale.

I picked up the machine that monitored my spark thrum and other weird things, I didn't know about.

Ratchet walks in before looking at his equipment and me still on the floor.

"What in the name of Primus and Cybertron is going on here?!" He snaps making me look around.

"I um. . . Fell out off the berth, but I'm fine," I say.

"Get back on that berth right now!" Ratchet orders making me scramble onto the berth.

Soon he starts checking me over to make sure everything is functional.

Moments Later

"Ironhide!!" Ratchet calls making the red mech walk in here.

"What?" Ironhide grunts poking his helm from around the door.

"She's awake," Ratchet grumbles before walking out and letting Ironhide in.

Ironhide shuffles in the room.

I watch him slowly.

He sits down on a chair beside the berth I was sitting up on.

"So Sky," he starts making me turn my attention from the wall to him.

"Yes?"

He looks at me with gentle blue optics. I could see my reflection on the glass on his chassis, which was the windshield of his alt. I took note that he had small old scars littering his faceplates. His dermas were also scarred. Servos looked rough but smooth at the same time. The mohock looking thing on the top of his helm made him look more into his character. His gruff voice made him sound war hardened. Ironhide did look very menacing if you didn't know him or if you were a Con.

"You scared me," he says slightly above a whisper. I almost didn't hear him.

"I'm sorry. . . I didn't mean to frighten you," I say softly. "Anyways why were you scared? It happened to me sometimes. But most of the time I have to calm myself down,"

Ironhide smiles gently at me.

"Kiddo, it's okay. . . I know you didn't mean to frighten me or anyone else," Ironhide says. I look at my lap only to have a foredigit and thumb grip my chin gently and lifting my helm up, Ironhide's optics were hard on me like he was gonna yell.
