Similar to a Baekhyun one shot series. This will also be a series. Four or so parts
I heard the door to our dorms slam, and I knew (Y/N), a girl who dormed with the band, had probably fought with her boyfriend. They had fought yesterday, too. And the day before. And the day before.
I immediately stood from the couch and trailed her to our little kitchen, where she threw her things onto the counter and buried her face in her hands.
"Hey, what's the matter?" I asked her, stepping up and holding her shoulders. I felt my protective, best friend mode activate. "What happened?"
"That asshole happened!" she yelled, sobbing into her hands. "He cheated on me with this 'model', and had the audacity to say he'd call me when she wasn't available!" She ran her hands through her hair. "I am not some booty call he can just use whenever he wants!"
I pulled her into a hug and rubbed her back soothingly. She sobbed against my chest, balling her hands up in my shirt.
"He cheated," she cried quietly. "I wasn't good enough for him. He didn't want me. I wasn't-"
"Stop," I told her in a somewhat commanding tone. She quit talking, but still cried. "Don't ever - ever - compare yourself to either of them. If he had the nerve to cheat and she had the nerve to let him, then you are far better a person than them both. If he did all of those things, he didn't care and doesn't deserve you at all."
I pulled away to smooth her hair back. Her red, puffy eyes met mine, and I gave her as kind a smile as I could manage.
"If it makes you feel any better, I'll be right here," I told her, putting a hand on her cheek. "You can cry to me, yell at me, let everything out whenever you need to. We don't have anywhere to be for the longest time, so any of the others could talk to you, too. We're here for you. I'm here for you."
I took my small chance, swooping down to kiss her. It was lighter than a feather and only lsted a second, but I loved it. I loved her.
When I pulled back, her eyes were wide and she clearly had nothing to say. I smiled at her, moving my hands to her shoulders.
"Jimin, I..." She bit her lip, trailing off. "I don't want to...not right now...later..."
I cut her off by nodding. "I understand," I promised her. "I'll wait as long as you need me. When you change your mind, I'll be right there."
"No matter how long it takes?" she asked, fiddling with her fingers.
"I'd wait until the ends of the Earth."
