Junior stares at the camera mounted on his desk with mild malice. What the hell was he supposed to say? He rubs his index finger over the smudged lens slowly. The slow, melodic dripping of the rain running down the gutters made him sleepy, but he needed to finish this diary tonight. He growls softly, flickering his glance to the framed picture on the desk. He stares at the two unrecognizable faces until his vision goes blurry with tears and his eyes burn.
"Why can't I remember?" He mumbles into the silence. He directs his gaze back to the camera and clicks record.
"This is, uh...My name is Junior Seminoe." He chuckles. "An odd name for sure, however, I cannot remember who gave me it or how I got it." He trails off, watching his reflection in the lens. A long, purple scar stretches from his eyebrow to his hairline, then disappearing into his mess of hair. Panic fills his chest for a moment.
"I remember nothing of my previous seventeen years on Earth. The earliest memories I have is waking up in the hospital in a complete daze. Puzzle pieces were missing from my entire life, some dancing just out of reach. I try to force certain pieces in, but that ends in terrible migraines... I.." He stops and glares at the camera, tears of frustration burning in the back of his eyes.
"GOD DAMMIT!" He screams, knocking the camera onto his bedroom floor. The red light cuts off. Pain pulses behind his eyes, and he groans.
"Make it stop.."
