Hey peeps! This is a new story I wanted to try out! Happy Reading!

Buneary was…. special but not in a good way. She was a different color than others of her species, so naturally she stood out beyond the crowd. After some years of torment and being bullied by other pokemon, she often had social issues and was more isolated and more nervous that most of her kind. Unfortunately at an early age, her parents decided with the other pokemonto let her go with them coming to the conclusion of her being an endangerment to her species. They deemed her a liability and a useless child abandoning her into the cold icy terrain that was the wilderness.

“Why… Why d-did they leave me?” Buneary asked herself as she trudged up a steep hill. “All nng-! I wanted nng-! was to be mff-! loved!” she grunted out in frustration as the harsh winter winds bellowed against her and her sights of the top of the hill was getting near. “D-Damn this h-hill!” she chattered out as the coldness was slowly taking its toll on her, making every muscle in her small, soft, fluffy body aching in agonizing and freezing pain.

Buneary panted in exhaustion after finally reaching the summit of the hill, “Why… it couldn't… be spring… Dammit?!” Buneary gasped out as she laid in the snow for a while, then stood and surveyed the area and saw a cabin in the far distance. “That's where a human lives… B-but at t-this point I need somewhere where I w-won’t freeze to d-death!” she said to herself as she came up with a way to get down the hill the fastest.

Buneary looks towards a log and hatched an idea. “I know! I'll use the log as one of those thingies those children were playing with!” she said as she punched the hollow  log as hard as she could on snapped it in two. She grabs one half and prepares to ride it down hill, “Well… here w-we go!” she said as the log started to slowly move downhill but gradually picked up speed as she went down.

“W-wah t-tooo fast!” she yelped as she was getting closer and closer towards the cabin. “I'm gonna make it! I'm-” she was cut off by a rock smashing the front of the log launching the poor buneary headfirst into the snow. “Pleh! Snow doesn't taste that well…”, she said as she slowly waddled her way in the deep snow towards the cabin.

The very moment Buneary approached the cabin, she heard something she never heard before. She couldn't put her finger (well paw in this case) on exactly what this noise was, “It noise, but… it sounds… r-relaxing…” she breathed out as she climbed a up a window in order to see what was the source of the noise.

It was a man, well a rather young man who didn't look at day over 19 or 20, and he was what seemed like frantically moving his fingers across this box thingy with white and black rectangles to the Buneary. “I wonder… what is that w-woah!!!”, she said as she fell through the window not realizing she pressed her full weight on the window. She was greeted with a warm comforting air but also a pair of eyes staring directly at her. “Oh shit…” Buneary thought as she felt like a deerling caught in headlights.
