'Teke-teke, the legend about a school girl who fell on a rail-way and was cut in two by the oncoming train. The train had killed her and no one had seen her ever again, well, no one alive that is.'

There was a sudden ghostly wailing in the dark bedroom. Jess pulled the blankets over her head and shut her computer screen. The room was quiet again and the wailing had stopped. She felt a sudden chill down her spine. Jess was trying desperately to keep her breathing under control so no one could hear. There were sudden thumps down the hall, they were slowly getting closer. Jess started shaking in fear, trying to keep her breathing under control.

'Under the bed.' She said in her mind. The thumps were getting closer and closer, so Jess threw the blankets off and swiftly but quietly moved from the bed and slid her small body underneath the bed.

'They'll still see you.' Her conciousness said to her.

"I know that," She quietly replied whilst pulling the blankets over the side of the bed, hiding the underside of the bed. She started to notice something. It was unusually quiet. The thumps, they were gone. She stayed quiet as she listened outside of the room, the fact that the door was open and there was a night light didn't really help at all but at least the shadow would give her a sense of where they are. Suddenly there was high-pitch scream and Jess froze, her hand over her mouth to stop her from screaming in fear. The screaming stopped followed by laughter, like a young child's. The thudding started again, but this time it was more like footsteps. Thump Thump Thump, it was getting louder. Closer and closer until she saw it. The shadow. It was being cast by the night light and the ghostly figure in front of it. A ghostly figure suddenly appeared in the door way, then another. They entered the room slowly, while their heads looked from left to right. Jess's hand was still over her mouth. She was breathing more calmly now. A sound came from the one on the left, like a whimper. The ghostly figures turned around to exit the room. Jess let a sigh of relief but then was stopped by her hand as the ghostly figure turned around suspiciously. Then exited the room. She waited for them to leave and stayed quiet until she was sure they weren't in the hall. Then let out a long sigh of relief. Her back was starting to hurt because of the wood under the bed, so she slid out from under the bed and stood up straight and stretched her arms, then her back. She stood on something earlier when she hid under the bed so she scanned the room only to find a small desk, a fairly large wardrobe with many of what looked like pieces of clothing in front of it, and the bed. It was a pretty empty room but it was cosy. She opened the wardrobe door to see what it contains, and to her surprise it was empty. Suddenly, a hand reached out and pulled her in.
