The rest of the day wasn't very eventful. The muffle laughs of Hayden continued, and Caspian was being the only thing he was acknowledging. Grunting, as he constantly kept on cursing underneath his breath, finally realizing that Hayden was still right beside him. Then later on forcing him to go home.

"Should I leave you alone with her or...," Hayden sneered, referring to the picture his friend still held a strong grip on. His eyes glancing at his wrist-watch for a mere second before turning back to his slow-witted friend who still seemed to be at lost for words.

"Hayden," Caspian scolded, his brows narrowing.

"Okay, okay sorry," Hayden huffed, not wanting to get into another argument with his friend. Well, it wouldn't really be an argument now that he thought about it, since it would only involve himself attempting to get Caspian to speak to him again. But it wasn't like he was making it any less obious with his fingers wrapped around it, for anybody else to witness. Caspian was begging to be made fun of.

"This is serious," Caspian paused, "I might, or might have not accidentally took some things from the school, including Kenzie's, So if you even dare to speak of this, or mention it to anyone and I do mean anyone---I mean, isn't this like stealing school property or something?"

Hayden hadn't seen Caspian this frustrated, his permanently rosy cheeks rosier than usual, the tone in his words making him out rather worried than annoyed at Hayden for his assumptions of him having a liking on Kenzie.

God, it wasn't like it was a fucking crime scene he had just witnessed. And he sure as hell never thought of telling anyone, Hayden thought. Yet he sure didn't doubt Caspian would easily give in to practically anything if Hayden were to take advantage of this new found information that he seemed so worried about.

With a rather long sigh Hayden waited for his friend to continue to convey further on. Caspian's fiddling finger only showing him that he was nervous to speak the words that were soon to escape his lips.

"I, uh. . . have something to confess," Caspian muttered shyly. Hayden's smirk tugged the right side of his lips, nodding as a simple response for him to continue.

If Caspian had learned anything throughout all the years of being with Hayden, it would be that he couldn't keep anything hidden. Caspian knew that it would eventually slip from Hayden's mouth and wonder around the school about the old stolen pictures. Caspian thought that the only way to mask a secret was to lie.

"I do like Kenzie. So please as a 'friend' don't go around telling anyone, let alone mention it to Kenzie and. . . you know what? just stay quiet." Caspian was quick to add, knowing that Hayden would mock him for this. At this point, he could care less of what people thought of him or his un-existing feelings towards Kenzie, but he just couldn't stand the thought of someone else figuring out what he was planning to do.

Hayden stared at him for a brief moment, not knowing if he was going to speak again or if that was it. There was something underneath Caspian's tone that didn't seem quite believable, and it wasn't, but Hayden didn't need to know that.

Hayden let out a last final chuckle before patting Caspian's back, grinning, as if reassuring him that he'd bought every single word that had purposely sputtered from his mouth.

It wasn't that Hayden didn't believe him, it was just that not even Caspian seemed convinced of his very own words. Hayden felt like he should've asked more questions; Maybe Caspian's sudden nervous state, or outburst that was making him uneasy as well. Perhaps, how he was even able to obtain a picture of Kenzie for starters.

"My lips are sealed." Hayden made a gesture with his hand, touching his lips with his fingertips ever so slightly, as if there was some sort of zipper edging across his lips.
