Dear diary,
I thought I could get away just by packing a bag and going to a friends house. I couldn't though, I couldn't escape my mind, I couldn't hide this time. Running away isn't an option. I can't do this anymore! I've been trying.
Love, Lynda
That was the first page in the diary I received in the mail. That day... That day set off so much. The largest domino effect I've ever seen. It so many twists and turns. The diary wasn't all and I wasn't the only one in on this whole story, but I felt the need to help her. I felt like a protector, a mother, or a doctor. Someone who needed to swoop in and fix her. It was my job and I now see her as my own child.
3 years..we have been on the case, but it started on one ordinary day.
I woke up on that day like any other, got the coffee going, woke the kids up, and went for a jog to the gym. On the way home it was different I got home and saw a box. It was simple, plain, yet it looked somewhat frightening. I brought it in and sat it on the kitchen table. I made breakfast and called the kids down to eat. Melanie made it down stairs first. She was on her phone as usual, talking to some guy she was helping in math. Mitchell was next reading a comic book.
"Hey, did anyone order anything?" I had to ask, but it was useless, everyone said no so I opened it on my own after everyone went to work and school, and that day was just the beginning. looking back now I would like to change one thing,,,id like to tell melenie to come with us, I cant believe that she was more worried about school than the contents.anyway the box contained a diary and a locked box i didnt know what to do until a letter fell out, cautiously i picked it up i read it out loud to myself:
"Hello,
Im lynda and you have recieved one of my 5 boxes....you have the lock another the key and to gether you will unlock mystery,,,, okay no that sounds stupid, lets try this again. hello, im lynda and you have recieved my box, not the only one of corse, one of five. i need you to create something. find the others and discover what exactly happened to me i need you to create an e-mail...Findinglynda@hotmail.com, create twitters and facebook pages whatever it takes to find the other 4. you are my only hope.
Kisses,Lynda"
